I alsosworeוָאֶשָּׁ֣בַֽעva.'e.Sha.va'H7650to you andenteredוָאָב֨וֹאva.'a.Vo'H935into a covenantבִבְרִ֜יתviv.RitH1285with you so that youbecameוַתִּ֥הְיִיva.Tih.yiH1961Mine,” declaresנְאֻ֛םne.'UmH5002the Lordאֲדֹנָ֥י'a.do.NaiH136 GodH3068.

9“Then I bathedוָאֶרְחָצֵ֣ךְva.'er.cha.TzekhH7364you with waterבַּמַּ֔יִםba.Ma.yimH4325,washedוָאֶשְׁטֹ֥ףva.'esh.TofH7857offH7857your bloodדָּמַ֖יִךְda.Ma.yikhH1818from you andanointedוָאֲסֻכֵ֖ךְva.'a.su.KhekhH5480you with oilבַּשָּֽׁמֶן׃ba.Sha.menH8081.

10I also clothedוָאַלְבִּישֵׁ֣ךְva.'al.bi.ShekhH3847you withembroideredH7553clothרִקְמָ֔הrik.MahH7553and putH5274sandalsH5274of porpoiseH8476skinH8476on your feet; and I wrappedוָאֶחְבְּשֵׁ֣ךְva.'ech.be.ShekhH2280you with fineבַּשֵּׁ֔שׁba.SheshH8336linenH8336and coveredוַאֲכַסֵּ֖ךְva.'a.kha.SekhH3680you with silkמֶֽשִׁי׃Me.shiH4897.

11I adornedוָאֶעְדֵּ֖ךְva.'e'.DekhH5710you with ornamentsעֶ֑דִי'E.diH5716,putוָאֶתְּנָ֤הva.'e.te.NahH5414braceletsצְמִידִים֙tze.mi.DimH6781on your handsיָדַ֔יִךְya.Da.yikhH3027and anecklaceוְרָבִ֖ידve.ra.VidH7242aroundH5921your neckגְּרוֹנֵֽךְ׃ge.ro.NekhH1627.

12I also putוָאֶתֵּ֥ןva.'e.TenH5414aringנֶ֙זֶם֙ne.zemH5141in your nostrilאַפֵּ֔ךְ'a.PekhH639,earringsוַעֲגִילִ֖יםva.'a.gi.LimH5694in your earsאָזְנָ֑יִךְ'a.ze.Na.yikhH241and abeautifulתִּפְאֶ֖רֶתtif.'E.retH8597crownוַעֲטֶ֥רֶתva.'a.Te.retH5850on your headבְּרֹאשֵֽׁךְ׃be.ro.ShekhH7218.

15“But youtrustedוַתִּבְטְחִ֣יva.tiv.te.ChiH982in your beautyבְיָפְיֵ֔ךְve.ya.fe.YekhH3308andplayedH2181the harlotH2181becauseH5921of your fameשְׁמֵ֑ךְshe.MekhH8034,and you pouredוַתִּשְׁפְּכִ֧יva.tish.pe.KhiH8210out your harlotriesתַּזְנוּתַ֛יִךְtaz.nu.Ta.yikhH8457on everyכָּל־kol-H3605passer-byעוֹבֵ֖רo.VerH5674who might be willing.

16You tookוַתִּקְחִ֣יva.tik.ChiH3947someH4480of your clothesמִבְּגָדַ֗יִךְmi.be.ga.Da.yikhH899,madeוַתַּֽעֲשִׂי־va.ta.'a.si-H6213for yourself highבָּמ֣וֹתba.MotH1116placesH1116of variousH2921colorsH2921and playedH2181the harlotH2181on them,which should neverלֹ֥אlo'H3808comeבָא֖וֹתva.'otH935about norוְלֹ֥אve.Lo'H3808happenיִהְיֶֽה׃yih.YehH1961.

17You also tookוַתִּקְחִ֞יva.tik.ChiH3947your beautifulתִפְאַרְתֵּ֗ךְtif.'ar.TekhH8597jewelsכְּלֵ֣יke.LeiH3627madeof My goldמִזְּהָבִ֤יmi.ze.ha.ViH2091and of My silverוּמִכַּסְפִּי֙u.mi.kas.PiH3701,whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834I had givenנָתַ֣תִּיna.Ta.tiH5414you, and madeוַתַּעֲשִׂי־va.ta.'a.si-H6213for yourself maleזָכָ֑רza.KharH2145imagesצַלְמֵ֣יtzal.MeiH6754that you might playH2181the harlotH2181with them.

18Then you tookוַתִּקְחִ֛יva.tik.ChiH3947your embroideredרִקְמָתֵ֖ךְrik.ma.TekhH7553clothבִּגְדֵ֥יbig.DeiH899and coveredוַתְּכַסִּ֑יםva.te.kha.SimH3680them, and offeredנָתַ֖תְּna.ta.tiH5414My oilוְשַׁמְנִי֙ve.sham.NiH8081and My incenseוּקְטָרְתִּ֔יu.ke.ta.re.TiH7004beforeלִפְנֵיהֶֽם׃lif.nei.HemH6440them.

20“Moreover, you tookוַתִּקְחִ֞יva.tik.ChiH3947your sonsבָּנַ֤יִךְba.Na.yikhH1121and daughtersבְּנוֹתַ֙יִךְ֙be.no.Ta.yikhH1323whomאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834you had borneיָלַ֣דְתְּya.LadtH3205to Me andsacrificedוַתִּזְבָּחִ֥יםva.tiz.ba.ChimH2076them toidols to be devouredלֶאֱכ֑וֹלle.'e.KholH398.Were your harlotriesמִתַּזְנוּתָֽיִךְ׃mi.taz.nu.tekhH8457soH4592smallH4592a matter?

21You slaughteredוַֽתִּשְׁחֲטִ֖יva.tish.cha.TiH7819My childrenבָּנָ֑יba.NaiH1121and offeredוַֽתִּתְּנִ֔יםva.ti.te.NimH5414them up to idols bycausing them to passבְּהַעֲבִ֥ירbe.ha.'a.VirH5674throughH5674the fire.

22BesidesH854allכָּל־kol-H3605your abominationsתּוֹעֲבֹתַ֙יִךְ֙to.'a.vo.Ta.yikhH8441and harlotriesוְתַזְנֻתַ֔יִךְve.taz.nu.Ta.yikhH8457you did not rememberזָכַ֖רְתְּza.khar.tiH2142the daysיְמֵ֣יye.MeiH3117ofyour youthנְעוּרָ֑יִךְne.'u.Ra.yikhH5271,when you were nakedעֵרֹ֣ם'e.RomH5903and bareוְעֶרְיָ֔הve.'er.YahH6181and squirmingמִתְבּוֹסֶ֥סֶתmit.bo.Se.setH947in your bloodבְּדָמֵ֖ךְbe.da.MekhH1818.

23“Then it cameוַיְהִ֕יvay.HiH1961about afterאַחֲרֵ֖י'a.cha.ReiH310allכָּל־kol-H3605your wickednessH7463(‘Woeא֣וֹי'oH188,woeא֣וֹי'oH188to you!’ declaresנְאֻ֖םne.'UmH5002the Lordאֲדֹנָ֥י'a.do.NaiH136 GodH3068),
