13Then the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to Mosesמֹשֶׁ֔הmo.ShehH4872, “Riseהַשְׁכֵּ֣םhash.KemH7925up earlyH7925in the morningבַּבֹּ֔קֶרba.Bo.kerH1242and standוְהִתְיַצֵּ֖בve.hit.ya.TzevH3320beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440Pharaohפַרְעֹ֑הfar.'OhH6547and sayוְאָמַרְתָּ֣ve.'a.mar.TaH559to him, ‘Thusכֹּֽה־koh-H3541saysאָמַ֤ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068,the Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of the Hebrewsהָֽעִבְרִ֔יםha.'iv.RimH5680, “LetH7971My peopleעַמִּ֖י'a.MiH5971goשַׁלַּ֥חsha.LachH7971,that they may serveוְיַֽעַבְדֻֽנִי׃ve.Ya.'av.Du.niH5647Me.
14For thisH2088timeבַּפַּ֣עַםba.Pa.'amH6471I will sendשֹׁלֵ֜חַsho.Le.achH7971allכָּל־kol-H3605My plaguesמַגֵּפֹתַי֙ma.ge.fo.TaiH4046on you and your servantsוּבַעֲבָדֶ֖יךָu.va.'a.va.Dei.khaH5650and your peopleוּבְעַמֶּ֑ךָu.ve.'a.Me.khaH5971,soבַּעֲב֣וּרba.'a.VurH5668thatyou may knowתֵּדַ֔עte.Da'H3045that thereH369is noH369oneH369likeכָּמֹ֖נִיka.Mo.niH3644Me in allבְּכָל־be.kholH3605the earthהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776.
16But, indeedוְאוּלָ֗םve.'u.LamH199,for thisH2088reasonבַּעֲב֥וּרba.'a.VurH5668I have allowed you toremainהֶעֱמַדְתִּ֔יךָhe.'e.mad.Ti.khaH5975,in orderבַּעֲב֖וּרba.'a.VurH5668to showהַרְאֹתְךָ֣har.'o.te.KhaH7200you My powerכֹּחִ֑יko.ChiH3581and in orderוּלְמַ֛עַןu.le.Ma.'anH4616to proclaimסַפֵּ֥רsa.PerH5608My nameשְׁמִ֖יshe.MiH8034through allבְּכָל־be.kholH3605the earthהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776.
18BeholdH2009,about this timeכָּעֵ֣תka.'EtH6256tomorrowמָחָ֔רma.CharH4279, I willsendמַמְטִיר֙mam.TirH4305a veryמְאֹ֑דme.'OdH3966heavyכָּבֵ֣דka.VedH3515hailבָּרָ֖דba.RadH1259,suchאֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834as has not beenהָיָ֤הha.YahH1961seenin Egyptבְּמִצְרַ֔יִםbe.mitz.Ra.yimH4714from the dayהַיּ֥וֹםhai.YomH3117it was foundedהִוָּסְדָ֖הhi.va.se.DahH3245untilוְעַד־ve.'ad-H5704nowעָֽתָּה׃'A.tahH6258.
19Nowוְעַתָּ֗הve.'a.TahH6258therefore sendשְׁלַ֤חshe.LachH7971,bringH5756your livestockמִקְנְךָ֔mik.ne.ChaH4735and whateverכָּל־kol-H3605H834you have in the fieldבַּשָּׂדֶ֑הba.sa.DehH7704to safetyH5756.Everyכָּל־kol-H3605manהָאָדָ֨םha.'a.DamH120and beastוְהַבְּהֵמָ֜הve.ha.be.he.MahH929that is foundיִמָּצֵ֣אyi.ma.Tze'H4672in the fieldבַשָּׂדֶ֗הva.sa.DehH7704and is not broughtיֵֽאָסֵף֙ye.'a.SefH622homeהַבַּ֔יְתָהha.Bay.tahH1004,when the hailהַבָּרָ֖דha.ba.RadH1259comesוְיָרַ֧דve.ya.RadH3381downH3381on them, will dieוָמֵֽתוּ׃va.Me.tuH4191.”’”
20The oneH4480among the servantsמֵֽעַבְדֵ֖יme.'av.DeiH5650of Pharaohפַּרְעֹ֑הpar.'OhH6547whofearedH3372the wordדְּבַ֣רde.VarH1697of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068made his servantsעֲבָדָ֥יו'a.va.DavH5650and his livestockמִקְנֵ֖הוּmik.Ne.huH4735fleeהֵנִ֛יסhe.NisH5127into the housesהַבָּתִּֽים׃ha.ba.TimH1004;
22Now the Lordיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to Mosesמֹשֶׁהmo.shehH4872, “Stretchנְטֵ֤הne.TehH5186out your handיָֽדְךָ֙ya.de.KhaH3027towardH5921the skyהַשָּׁמַ֔יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064, thathailבָרָ֖דva.RadH1259may fallוִיהִ֥יvi.HiH1961on allבְּכָל־be.kholH3605the landאֶ֣רֶץ'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרָ֑יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714,on manהָאָדָ֣םha.'a.DamH120and on beastהַבְּהֵמָ֗הha.be.he.MahH929and on everyכָּל־kol-H3605plantעֵ֥שֶׂב'E.sevH6212of the fieldהַשָּׂדֶ֖הha.sa.DehH7704,throughout the landבְּאֶ֥רֶץbe.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרָֽיִם׃mitz.Ra.yimH4714.”
23Mosesמֹשֶׁ֣הmo.ShehH4872stretchedוַיֵּ֨טvai.YetH5186out his staffמַטֵּהוּ֮ma.te.HuH4294towardH5921the skyהַשָּׁמַיִם֒ha.sha.ma.YimH8064,and the Lordוַֽיהוָ֗הva.Yah.wehH3068sentנָתַ֤ןna.TanH5414thunderקֹלֹת֙ko.LotH6963andhailוּבָרָ֔דu.va.RadH1259,and fireאֵ֖שׁ'eshH784ranוַתִּ֥הֲלַךְva.Ti.ha.lakhH1980down to the earthאָ֑רְצָה'A.re.tzahH776.And the Lordיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068rainedוַיַּמְטֵ֧רvai.yam.TerH4305hailבָּרָ֖דba.RadH1259on the landאֶ֥רֶץ'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרָֽיִם׃mitz.Ra.yimH4714.
24So there was hailבָרָ֔דva.RadH1259,and fireוְאֵ֕שׁve.'EshH784flashingמִתְלַקַּ֖חַתmit.la.Ka.chatH3947continually in the midstבְּת֣וֹךְbe.TokhH8432of the hailהַבָּרָ֑דha.ba.RadH1259,veryמְאֹ֔דme.'OdH3966severeכָּבֵ֣דka.VedH3515,suchאֲ֠שֶׁר'a.SherH834as had not beenH1961in allבְּכָל־be.kholH3605the landאֶ֣רֶץ'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714sinceH3975it becameH1961a nationלְגֽוֹי׃le.GoyH1471.
25The hailהַבָּרָ֜דha.ba.RadH1259struckוַיַּ֨ךְvai.YakhH5221allבְּכָל־be.kholH3605that was in the fieldבַּשָּׂדֶ֔הba.sa.DehH7704through allכָּל־kol-H3605the landאֶ֣רֶץ'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרַ֗יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714,bothH4480manמֵאָדָ֖םme.'a.DamH120and beastבְּהֵמָ֑הbe.he.MahH929;the hailהַבָּרָ֔דha.ba.RadH1259also struckהִכָּ֣הhi.KahH5221everyכָּל־kol-H3605plantעֵ֤שֶׂב'E.sevH6212of the fieldהַשָּׂדֶה֙ha.sa.DehH7704and shatteredשִׁבֵּֽר׃shi.BerH7665everyכָּל־kol-H3605treeעֵ֥ץ'etzH6086of the fieldהַשָּׂדֶ֖הha.sa.DehH7704.
27Then Pharaohפַּרְעֹ֗הpar.'OhH6547sentוַיִּשְׁלַ֣חvai.yish.LachH7971for Mosesלְמֹשֶׁ֣הle.mo.ShehH4872and Aaronוּֽלְאַהֲרֹ֔ןu.le.'a.ha.RonH175,and saidוַיֹּ֥אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to them, “I have sinnedחָטָ֣אתִיcha.Ta.tiH2398thisH6471timeהַפָּ֑עַםha.Pa.'amH6471;the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068is the righteousהַצַּדִּ֔יקha.tza.DikH6662oneH6662,and I and my peopleוְעַמִּ֖יve.'a.MiH5971are the wickedH7563onesH7563.
28MakeH6279supplicationH6279to the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,for there has been enoughוְרַ֕בve.RavH7227of God’sאֱלֹהִ֖ים'E.lo.HimH430thunderקֹלֹ֥תko.LotH6963and hailוּבָרָ֑דu.va.RadH1259; andI will letH7971you goוַאֲשַׁלְּחָ֣הva.'a.sha.le.ChahH7971,and you shall stayלַעֲמֹֽד׃la.'a.ModH5975noוְלֹ֥אve.Lo'H3808longerתֹסִפ֖וּןto.si.FunH3254.”
29Mosesמֹשֶׁ֔הmo.ShehH4872saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to him, “As soon as I goכְּצֵאתִי֙ke.tze.TiH3318out of the cityהָעִ֔ירha.'IrH5892, I willspreadאֶפְרֹ֥שׂ'ef.RosH6566out myhandsכַּפַּ֖יka.PaiH3709to the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068; thethunderהַקֹּל֣וֹתha.ko.LotH6963will ceaseיֶחְדָּל֗וּןyech.da.LunH2308and there will be hailוְהַבָּרָד֙ve.ha.ba.RadH1259noלֹ֣אlo'H3808longerע֔וֹדodH5750,that you may knowתֵּדַ֔עte.Da'H3045thatthe earthהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776is the Lord’sלַיהוָ֖הla.Yah.wehH3068.
33So Mosesמֹשֶׁ֜הmo.ShehH4872wentוַיֵּצֵ֨אvai.ye.Tze'H3318out of the cityהָעִ֔ירha.'IrH5892from Pharaohפַּרְעֹה֙par.'OhH6547,and spreadוַיִּפְרֹ֥שׂvai.yif.RosH6566out hishandsכַּפָּ֖יוka.PavH3709to the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068; and thethunderהַקֹּלוֹת֙ha.ko.lOtH6963and the hailוְהַבָּרָ֔דve.ha.ba.RadH1259ceasedוַֽיַּחְדְּל֤וּvai.yach.de.LuH2308,and rainוּמָטָ֖רu.ma.TarH4306noלֹא־lo'-H3808longer pouredנִתַּ֥ךְni.TakhH5413on the earthאָֽרְצָה׃'A.re.tzahH776.
34But when Pharaohפַּרְעֹ֗הpar.'OhH6547sawוַיַּ֣רְאvai.Yar'H7200that the rainהַמָּטָ֧רha.ma.TarH4306and the hailוְהַבָּרָ֛דve.ha.ba.RadH1259and thethunderוְהַקֹּלֹ֖תve.ha.ko.LotH6963had ceasedחָדַ֨לcha.DalH2308,he sinnedלַחֲטֹ֑אla.cha.To'H2398againוַיֹּ֣סֶףvai.Yo.sefH3254andhardenedוַיַּכְבֵּ֥דvai.yakh.BedH3513his heartלִבּ֖וֹli.BoH3820,he and his servantsוַעֲבָדָֽיו׃va.'a.va.DavH5650.
