11Therefore the Lordיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068broughtוַיָּבֵ֨אvai.ya.Ve'H935the commandersשָׂרֵ֤יsa.ReiH8269of the armyהַצָּבָא֙ha.tza.Va'H6635of the kingלְמֶ֣לֶךְle.Me.lekhH4428of Assyriaאַשּׁ֔וּר'a.ShurH804againstעֲלֵיהֶ֗ם'a.lei.HemH5921them, and they capturedוַיִּלְכְּד֥וּvai.yil.ke.DuH3920Manassehמְנַשֶּׁ֖הme.na.ShehH4519withhooksבַּחֹחִ֑יםba.cho.ChimH2336,boundוַיַּֽאַסְרֻ֙הוּ֙vai.ya.'as.Ru.huH631him with bronzeבַּֽנְחֻשְׁתַּ֔יִםban.chush.Ta.yimH5178chainsand tookוַיּוֹלִיכֻ֖הוּvai.yo.li.Khu.huH1980him to Babylonבָּבֶֽלָה׃ba.Ve.lahH894.

12Whenhe was in distressוּכְהָצֵ֣רu.khe.ha.TzerH6887,he entreatedחִלָּ֕הchi.LahH2470the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068his Godאֱלֹהָ֑יו'e.lo.HavH430andhumbledוַיִּכָּנַ֣עvai.yi.ka.Na'H3665himself greatlyמְאֹ֔דme.'OdH3966beforeH4480 H6440the Godאֱלֹהֵ֥י'e.lo.HeiH430of his fathersאֲבֹתָֽיו׃'a.vo.TavH1.

13When he prayedוַיִּתְפַּלֵּ֣לvai.yit.pa.LelH6419to Him,He was movedH6279by his entreatyH6279and heardוַיִּשְׁמַ֣עvai.yish.Ma'H8085his supplicationתְּחִנָּת֔וֹte.chi.na.ToH8467,and broughtH7725him againH7725to Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַ֖םye.ru.sha.LimH3389to his kingdomלְמַלְכוּת֑וֹle.mal.khu.ToH4438.Then Manassehמְנַשֶּׁ֔הme.na.ShehH4519knewוַיֵּ֣דַעvai.Ye.da'H3045that the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068wasGodהָֽאֱלֹהִֽים׃Ha.'E.lo.HimH430.

15He alsoremovedוַ֠יָּסַרVai.ya.sarH5493the foreignהַנֵּכָ֤רha.ne.KharH5236godsאֱלֹהֵ֨י'e.lo.HeiH430and the idolהַסֶּ֙מֶל֙ha.Se.melH5566from the houseמִבֵּ֣יתmi.BeitH1004of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,as well as allוְכָל־ve.kholH3605the altarsהַֽמִּזְבְּח֗וֹתha.miz.be.ChotH4196whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834he had builtבָּנָ֛הba.NahH1129on the mountainבְּהַ֥רbe.HarH2022of the houseבֵּית־beit-H1004of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068and in Jerusalemוּבִירוּשָׁלִָ֑םu.vi.ru.sha.LimH3389,and he threwוַיַּשְׁלֵ֖ךְvai.yash.LekhH7993themoutsideח֥וּצָהChu.tzahH2351the cityלָעִֽיר׃la.'IrH5892.

16He setH3559up the altarמִזְבַּ֣חmiz.BachH4196of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068and sacrificedוַיִּזְבַּ֣חvai.yiz.BachH2076peaceשְׁלָמִ֖יםshe.la.MimH8002offeringsH8002and thankH8426offeringsH8426on it; and he orderedוַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙vai.Yo.merH559Judahלִֽיהוּדָ֔הli.hu.DahH3063to serveלַעֲב֕וֹדla.'a.VodH5647the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068Godאֱלֹהֵ֥י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.

17Neverthelessאֲבָל֙'a.ValH61the peopleהָעָ֔םha.'AmH5971stillע֣וֹדodH5750sacrificedזֹבְחִ֖יםzoe.ChimH2076in the highבַּבָּמ֑וֹתba.ba.MotH1116placesH1116, althoughonlyH7534to the Lordלַיהוָ֥הla.Yah.wehH3068their Godאֱלֹהֵיהֶֽם׃'e.lo.hei.HemH430.
