11Wherefore the Lordיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068broughtוַיָּבֵ֨אvai.ya.Ve'H935upon them the captains ofשָׂרֵ֤יsa.ReiH8269the host ofהַצָּבָא֙ha.tza.Va'H6635the kingלְמֶ֣לֶךְle.Me.lekhH4428of Assyriaאַשּׁ֔וּר'a.ShurH804,which tookוַיִּלְכְּד֥וּvai.yil.ke.DuH3920Manassehמְנַשֶּׁ֖הme.na.ShehH4519among the thornsבַּחֹחִ֑יםba.cho.ChimH2336,and bound himוַיַּֽאַסְרֻ֙הוּ֙vai.ya.'as.Ru.huH631with fettersבַּֽנְחֻשְׁתַּ֔יִםban.chush.Ta.yimH5178,and carriedH3212him to Babylonבָּבֶֽלָה׃ba.Ve.lahH894.

12And when he was in afflictionוּכְהָצֵ֣רu.khe.ha.TzerH6887,he besoughtחִלָּ֕הchi.LahH2470the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068his Godאֱלֹהָ֑יו'e.lo.HavH430,and humbledוַיִּכָּנַ֣עvai.yi.ka.Na'H3665himself greatlyמְאֹ֔דme.'OdH3966beforeH6440the Godאֱלֹהֵ֥י'e.lo.HeiH430of his fathersאֲבֹתָֽיו׃'a.vo.TavH1,

13And prayedוַיִּתְפַּלֵּ֣לvai.yit.pa.LelH6419unto him: and he was intreatedוַיֵּעָ֤תֶרvai.ye.'A.terH6279of him, and heardוַיִּשְׁמַ֣עvai.yish.Ma'H8085his supplicationתְּחִנָּת֔וֹte.chi.na.ToH8467,and brought him againוַיְשִׁיבֵ֥הוּvay.shi.Ve.huH7725to Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַ֖םye.ru.sha.LimH3389into his kingdomלְמַלְכוּת֑וֹle.mal.khu.ToH4438.Then Manassehמְנַשֶּׁ֔הme.na.ShehH4519knewוַיֵּ֣דַעvai.Ye.da'H3045that the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068he wasGodהָֽאֱלֹהִֽים׃Ha.'E.lo.HimH430.

14Now after thisוְאַחֲרֵי־ve.'a.cha.rei-H310he builtבָּנָ֣הba.NahH1129a wallחוֹמָ֣הcho.MahH2346withoutחִֽיצוֹנָ֣ה׀chi.tzo.NahH2435the cityלְעִיר־le.'ir-H5892of Davidדָּוִ֡ידda.VidH1732,on the west sideמַעְרָבָה֩ma'.ra.VahH4628of Gihonלְגִיח֨וֹןle.gi.ChonH1521,in the valleyבַּנַּ֜חַלba.Na.chalH5158,even to the entering inוְלָב֨וֹאve.la.Vo'H935at the fishהַדָּגִים֙ha.da.GimH1709gateבְשַׁ֤עַרve.Sha.'arH8179,and compassedוְסָבַ֣בve.sa.VavH5437about Ophelלָעֹ֔פֶלla.'O.felH6077,and raised it upוַיַּגְבִּיהֶ֖הָvai.yag.bi.He.haH1361a very great heightמְאֹ֑דme.'OdH3966,and putוַיָּ֧שֶׂםvai.Ya.semH7760captainsשָֽׂרֵי־sa.rei-H8269of warחַ֛יִלCha.yilH2428in all the fencedהַבְּצֻר֖וֹתha.be.tzu.RotH1219citiesהֶעָרִ֥יםhe.'a.RimH5892of Judahבִּיהוּדָֽה׃bi.hu.DahH3063.

15And he took awayוַ֠יָּסַרVai.ya.sarH5493the strangeהַנֵּכָ֤רha.ne.KharH5236godsאֱלֹהֵ֨י'e.lo.HeiH430,and the idolהַסֶּ֙מֶל֙ha.Se.melH5566out of the houseמִבֵּ֣יתmi.BeitH1004of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,and all the altarsהַֽמִּזְבְּח֗וֹתha.miz.be.ChotH4196that he had builtבָּנָ֛הba.NahH1129in the mountבְּהַ֥רbe.HarH2022of the houseבֵּית־beit-H1004of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,and in Jerusalemוּבִירוּשָׁלִָ֑םu.vi.ru.sha.LimH3389,and castוַיַּשְׁלֵ֖ךְvai.yash.LekhH7993themoutח֥וּצָהChu.tzahH2351of the cityלָעִֽיר׃la.'IrH5892.

16And he repairedוַיִּ֙בֶן֙vai.ya.chenH1129the altarמִזְבַּ֣חmiz.BachH4196of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,and sacrificedוַיִּזְבַּ֣חvai.yiz.BachH2076thereon peaceשְׁלָמִ֖יםshe.la.MimH8002offeringsזִבְחֵ֥יziv.CheiH2077and thank offeringsוְתוֹדָ֑הve.to.DahH8426,and commandedוַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙vai.Yo.merH559Judahלִֽיהוּדָ֔הli.hu.DahH3063to serveלַעֲב֕וֹדla.'a.VodH5647the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068Godאֱלֹהֵ֥י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.

17Neverthelessאֲבָל֙'a.ValH61the peopleהָעָ֔םha.'AmH5971did sacrificeזֹבְחִ֖יםzoe.ChimH2076still in the high placesבַּבָּמ֑וֹתba.ba.MotH1116, yetunto the Lordלַיהוָ֥הla.Yah.wehH3068their Godאֱלֹהֵיהֶֽם׃'e.lo.hei.HemH430only.

18Now the restוְיֶ֨תֶרve.Ye.terH3499of the actsדִּבְרֵ֣יdiv.ReiH1697of Manassehמְנַשֶּׁה֮me.na.ShehH4519,and his prayerוּתְפִלָּת֣וֹu.te.fi.la.ToH8605unto his Godאֱלֹהָיו֒'e.lo.HavH430,and the wordsוְדִבְרֵי֙ve.div.ReiH1697of the seersהַֽחֹזִ֔יםha.cho.ZimH2374that spakeהַֽמְדַבְּרִ֣יםham.da.be.RimH1696to him in the nameבְּשֵׁ֥םbe.ShemH8034of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478, behold, they are writtenin the bookדִּבְרֵ֖יdiv.ReiH1697of the kingsמַלְכֵ֥יmal.KheiH4428of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.
