8It cameוַיְהִ֕יvay.HiH1961about when Jehuיֵה֖וּאye.Hu'H3058was executingH8199judgmentכְּהִשָּׁפֵ֥טke.hi.sha.FetH8199on the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Ahabאַחְאָ֑ב'ach.'AvH256,he foundוַיִּמְצָא֩vai.yim.Tza'H4672the princesשָׂרֵ֨יsa.ReiH8269of Judahיְהוּדָ֜הye.hu.DahH3063and the sonsוּבְנֵ֨יu.ve.NeiH1121of Ahaziah’sאֲחַזְיָ֛הוּ'a.chaz.Ya.huH274brothersאֲחֵ֧י'a.CheiH251ministeringמְשָׁרְתִ֥יםme.sha.re.TimH8334to Ahaziahלַאֲחַזְיָ֖הוּla.'a.chaz.Ya.huH274,and slewוַיַּהַרְגֵֽם׃vai.ya.har.GemH2026them.

9He also soughtוַיְבַקֵּשׁ֩vay.va.KeshH1245Ahaziahאֲחַזְיָ֨הוּ'a.chaz.Ya.huH274,and they caughtוַֽיִּלְכְּדֻ֜הוּvai.yil.ke.Du.huH3920him while he was hidingמִתְחַבֵּ֣אmit.cha.Be'H2244in Samariaבְשֹֽׁמְר֗וֹןve.sho.me.RonH8111;they broughtוַיְבִאֻ֣הוּvay.vi.'U.huH935him to Jehuיֵהוּא֮ye.Hu'H3058,putוַיְמִתֻהוּ֒vay.mi.tu.HuH4191him to deathH4191and buriedוַֽיִּקְבְּרֻ֔הוּvai.yik.be.Ru.huH6912him.
