Genesis 21:9-16

9And Sarahשָׂרָ֜הsa.RahH8283sawוַתֵּ֨רֶאva.Te.re'H7200the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Hagarהָגָ֧רha.GarH1904the Egyptianהַמִּצְרִ֛יתha.mitz.RitH4713,which she had bornיָלְדָ֥הYal.dahH3205unto Abrahamלְאַבְרָהָ֖םle.'av.ra.HamH85,mockingמְצַחֵֽק׃me.tza.ChekH6711.

10Wherefore she saidוַתֹּ֙אמֶר֙va.To.merH559unto Abrahamלְאַבְרָהָ֔םle.'av.ra.HamH85,Cast outגָּרֵ֛שׁga.ReshH1644this bondwomanהָאָמָ֥הha.'a.MahH519and her sonבְּנָ֑הּbe.NahH1121:for the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of this bondwomanהָאָמָ֣הha.'a.MahH519shall not be heirיִירַשׁ֙yi.RashH3423with my sonבְּנִ֖יbe.NiH1121, evenwith Isaacיִצְחָֽק׃yitz.ChakH3327.

11And the thingהַדָּבָ֛רha.da.VarH1697was veryמְאֹ֖דme.'OdH3966grievousH3415in Abraham’sאַבְרָהָ֑ם'av.ra.HamH85sightבְּעֵינֵ֣יbe.'ei.NeiH5869becauseאוֹדֹ֥ת'o.DotH182of his sonבְּנֽוֹ׃be.NoH1121.

12And Godאֱלֹהִ֜ים'E.lo.HimH430saidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto Abrahamאַבְרָהָ֗ם'av.ra.HamH85,Let it not be grievousH3415in thy sightבְּעֵינֶ֙יךָ֙be.'ei.Nei.khaH5869because of the ladהַנַּ֣עַרha.Na.'arH5288,and because of thy bondwomanאֲמָתֶ֔ךָ'a.ma.Te.khaH519;in all that Sarahשָׂרָ֖הsa.RahH8283hath saidתֹּאמַ֥רto.MarH559unto thee, hearkenשְׁמַ֣עshe.Ma'H8085unto her voiceבְּקֹלָ֑הּbe.ko.LahH6963;for in Isaacבְיִצְחָ֔קve.yitz.ChakH3327shall thy seedזָֽרַע׃Za.ra'H2233be calledיִקָּרֵ֥אyi.ka.Re'H7121.

13And also of the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of the bondwomanהָאָמָ֖הha.'a.MahH519will I makeאֲשִׂימֶ֑נּוּ'a.si.Me.nuH7760a nationלְג֣וֹיle.GoyH1471, because he isthy seedזַרְעֲךָ֖zar.'a.KhaH2233.

14And Abrahamאַבְרָהָ֣ם׀'av.ra.HamH85rose up earlyוַיַּשְׁכֵּ֣םvai.yash.KemH7925in the morningבַּבֹּ֡קֶרba.Bo.kerH1242,and tookוַיִּֽקַּֽח־vai.yi.kach-H3947breadלֶחֶם֩le.ChemH3899,and a bottleוְחֵ֨מַתve.Che.matH2573of waterמַ֜יִםMa.yimH4325,and gaveוַיִּתֵּ֣ןvai.yi.TenH5414itunto Hagarהָ֠גָרHa.gorH1904,puttingשָׂ֧םsamH7760iton her shoulderשִׁכְמָ֛הּshikh.MahH7926,and the childהַיֶּ֖לֶדhai.Ye.ledH3206,and sent her awayוַֽיְשַׁלְּחֶ֑הָvay.sha.le.Che.haH7971:and she departedH3212,and wanderedוַתֵּ֔תַעva.Te.ta'H8582in the wildernessבְּמִדְבַּ֖רbe.mid.BarH4057of Beer–shebaH884.

15And the waterהַמַּ֖יִםha.Ma.yimH4325was spentוַיִּכְל֥וּvai.yikh.LuH3615inמִן־min-H4480the bottleהַחֵ֑מֶתha.Che.metH2573,and she castוַתַּשְׁלֵ֣ךְva.tash.LekhH7993the childהַיֶּ֔לֶדhai.Ye.ledH3206under oneאַחַ֥ד'a.ChadH259of the shrubsהַשִּׂיחִֽם׃ha.si.ChimH7880.
