Nehemiah 10:28-32

28Andtherest ofthepeople,thepriests,theLevites,thedoorkeepers,thesingers,theNethinim,andall they that had separated themselves fromthepeoples ofthelands tothelaw of God, their wives, their sonsandtheir daughters, every one having knowledge [and] having understanding,

29joinedwiththeirbrethren,theirnobles,andenteredintoacurseandintoanoath,towalkinthelawH8451ofGodH430,whichhadbeengivenbyMosestheservantofGodH430,andtokeepanddoallthecommandmentsofJehovahourLord,andhisordinancesandhisstatutes;

30andthatwewouldnotgiveH5414ourdaughterstothepeoplesoftheland, nortakeH2388theirdaughtersforoursons:

31andthatifthepeoplesH5971ofthelandהָאָ֡רֶץha.'A.retzH776broughtwaresoranygrainonthesabbath daytosell,wewouldnottakeH3947itofthemonthesabbath,oron[any] holy day;andthatwewouldleave [thelandהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776uncultivated]theseventh year,andtheexactionofevery debt.

32Andwemadeordinancesforus,tochargeourselvesyearlywiththethirdpartofashekelfortheserviceofthehouseofourGod,
