Psalms 106

1HallelujahH1984!1

Give thanksH3034 to the LORDH3068, forH3588 He is goodH2896H3588;His loving devotion endures foreverH2617H5769.2WhoH4310 can describeH4448 the mighty actsH1369 of the LORDH3068or fully proclaimH8085H3605 His praiseH8416?3BlessedH835 are those who upholdH8104 justiceH4941,who practiceH6213 righteousnessH6666 at allH3605 timesH6256.
4Remember meH2142, O LORDH3068, in Your favorH7522 to Your peopleH5971;visit meH6485 with Your salvationH3444,5that I may seeH7200 the prosperityH2896 of Your chosen onesH972,and rejoiceH8055 in the gladnessH8057 of Your nationH1471,and give gloryH1984 withH5973 Your inheritanceH5159.
6We have sinnedH2398 likeH5973 our fathersH1;we have done wrongH5753 and acted wickedlyH7561.7Our fathersH1 in EgyptH4714 did notH3808 graspH7919 Your wondersH6381H3808or rememberH2142 Your abundantH7230 kindnessH2617;but they rebelledH4784 byH5921 the seaH3220,there at the RedH5488 SeaH3220.28Yet He saved themH3467 for the sake ofH4616 His nameH8034,to make His powerH1369 knownH3045.9He rebukedH1605 the RedH5488 SeaH3220, and it dried upH2717;He led themH1980 through the depthsH8415 as through a desertH4057.10He saved themH3467 from the handH3027 that hated themH8130;He redeemed themH1350 from the handH3027 of the enemyH341.11The watersH4325 coveredH3680 their foesH6862;notH3808 oneH259 of them remainedH3498.12Then they believedH539 His promisesH1697and sangH7891 His praiseH8416.
13Yet they soonH4116 forgotH7911 His worksH4639and failedH3808 to waitH2442 for His counselH6098.14They cravedH183 intenselyH8378 in the wildernessH4057and testedH5254 GodH410 in the desertH3452.15So He grantedH5414 their requestH7596,but sentH7971 a wasting diseaseH7332 upon themH5315.
16In the campH4264 they enviedH7065 MosesH4872,as well as AaronH175, the holy oneH6918 of the LORDH3068.17The earthH776 opened upH6605 and swallowedH1104 DathanH1885;it coveredH3680H5921 the assemblyH5712 of AbiramH48.18Then fireH784 blazedH1197 through their companyH5712;flamesH3852 consumedH3857 the wickedH7563.
19At HorebH27223 they madeH6213 a calfH5695and worshipedH7812 a molten imageH4541.20They exchangedH4171 their GloryH35194for the imageH8403 of a grass-eatingH398H6212 oxH7794.21They forgotH7911 GodH410 their SaviorH3467,who didH6213 greatH1419 things in EgyptH4714,22wondrous worksH6381 in the landH776 of HamH2526,and awesome deedsH3372 byH5921 the RedH5488 SeaH3220.23So He saidH559 He would destroy themH8045—had notH3884 MosesH4872 His chosen oneH972stoodH5975 before HimH6440 in the breachH6556to divertH7725 His wrathH2534 from destroying themH7843.
24They despisedH3988 the pleasantH2532 landH776;they did notH3808 believeH539 His promiseH1697.25They grumbledH7279 in their tentsH168and did notH3808 listenH8085 to the voiceH6963 of the LORDH3068.26So He raisedH5375 His handH3027 and sworeto cast them downH5307 in the wildernessH4057,27to disperseH53075 their offspringH2233 among the nationsH1471and scatter themH2219 throughout the landsH776.
28They yoked themselvesH6775 to Baal of PeorH1187and ateH398 sacrificesH2077 offered to lifeless godsH4191.29So they provoked the LORD to angerH3707 with their deedsH4611,and a plagueH4046 broke outH6555 among them.30But PhinehasH6372 stoodH5975 and intervenedH6419,and the plagueH4046 was restrainedH6113.31It was creditedH2803 to him as righteousnessH6666for endlessH1755H5769 generationsH1755 to comeH5704.
32At the watersH4325 of MeribahH48096 they angeredH7107 the LORDH5921,and trouble cameH7489 to MosesH4872 because of themH5668.33ForH3588 they rebelled againstH4784 His SpiritH7307,7and Moses spoke rashlyH981 with his lipsH8193.
34They did notH3808 destroyH8045 the peoplesH5971asH834 the LORDH3068 had commandedH559 them,35but they mingledH6148 with the nationsH1471and adoptedH3925 their customsH4639.36They worshipedH5647 their idolsH6091,which becameH1961 a snare to themH4170.37They sacrificedH2076 their sonsH1121andH853 their daughtersH1323 to demonsH7700.38They shedH8210 innocentH5355 bloodH1818—the bloodH1818 of their sonsH1121 and daughtersH1323,whomH834 they sacrificedH2076 to the idolsH6091 of CanaanH3667,and the landH776 was pollutedH2610 with bloodH1818.39They defiled themselvesH2930 by their actionsH4639and prostituted themselvesH2181 by their deedsH4611.
40So the angerH639 of the LORDH3068 burnedH2734 against His peopleH5971,and He abhorredH8581 His own inheritanceH5159.41He delivered themH5414 into the handH3027 of the nationsH1471,and those who hated themH8130 ruledH4910 over them.42Their enemiesH341 oppressed themH3905and subdued themH3665 underH8478 their handH3027.43ManyH7227 timesH6471 He rescued themH5337,but theyH1992 were bentH4784 on rebellionH6098and sank downH4355 in their iniquityH5771.
44Nevertheless He heardH8085 their cryH7440;He took noteH7200 of their distressH6862.45And He rememberedH2142 His covenantH1285 with them,and relentedH5162 by the abundanceH7230 of His loving devotionH2617.46He madeH5414 themH853 objects of compassionH7356toH6440 allH3605 who held them captiveH7617.
47Save usH3467, O LORDH3068 our GodH430,and gather usH6908 fromH4480 the nationsH1471,that we may give thanksH3034 to Your holyH6944 nameH8034,that we may gloryH7623 in Your praiseH8416.
48BlessedH1288 be the LORDH3068, the GodH430 of IsraelH3478,fromH4480 everlastingH5769 toH5704 everlastingH5769.
Let allH3605 the peopleH5971 sayH559, “AmenH543!”
HallelujahH1984H3050!
