(Psalm 70:1–5; Hebrews 10:1–18)

I waited patiently forH6960 the LORDH3068;He inclinedH5186 to meH413 and heardH8085 my cryH7775.2He lifted me upH5927 from the pitH953 of despairH7588,out of the miryH3121 clayH2916;He setH6965 my feetH7272 uponH5921 a rockH5553,and made my footstepsH838 firmH3559.3He putH5414 a newH2319 songH7892 in my mouthH6310,a hymn of praiseH8416 to our GodH430.ManyH7227 will seeH7200 and fearH3372and put their trustH982 in the LORDH3068.

BlessedH835 is the manH1397whoH834 has madeH7760 the LORDH3068 his trustH4009,who has notH3808 turnedH6437 toH413 the proudH7295,nor to those who lapseH7750 into falsehoodH3577.15ManyH7227, O LORDH3068 my GodH430,are the wondersH6381 YouH859 have doneH6213,and the plans You haveH4284 for usH413—noneH369 can compareH6186 to YouH413—if I proclaimH5046 and declare themH1696,they are more thanH6105 I can countH5608.

SacrificeH2077 and offeringH4503 You did notH3808 desireH2654,but my earsH241 You have openedH3738.2Burnt offeringsH5930 and sin offeringsH2401You did notH3808 requireH7592.7ThenH227 I saidH559, “Here I amH2009, I have comeH935—it is writtenH3789 about meH5921 in the scrollH4039 H5612:8I delightH2654 to doH6213 Your willH7522, O my GodH430;3Your lawH8451 is withinH8432 my heartH4578.”

I proclaimH1319 righteousnessH6664 in the greatH7227 assemblyH6951;beholdH2009, I do notH3808 sealH3607 my lipsH8193,as YouH859, O LORDH3068, do knowH3045.10I have notH3808 covered upH3680 Your righteousnessH6666 inH8432 my heartH3820;I have declaredH559 Your faithfulnessH530 and salvationH8668;I have notH3808 concealedH3582 Your loving devotionH2617 and faithfulnessH571from the greatH7227 assemblyH6951.

O LORDH3068, do notH3808 withholdH3607 Your mercyH7356 from meH4480;Your loving devotionH2617 and faithfulnessH571 will alwaysH8548 guard meH5341.12ForH3588 evilsH7451 H5704 withoutH369 numberH4557 surround meH661 H5921;my sinsH5771 have overtaken meH5381, so that I cannotH3808 H3201 seeH7200.They are moreH6105 than the hairsH8185 of my headH7218,and my heartH3820 has failed within meH5800.13Be pleasedH7521, O LORDH3068, to deliver meH5337;hurryH2363, O LORDH3068, to help meH5833.

May those who seekH1245 my lifeH5595 H5315be ashamedH954 and confoundedH2659 H3162;may those who wish meH2655 harmH7451be repelledH5472 H268 and humiliatedH3637.15May those who sayH559 to me, “AhaH1889, ahaH1889!”be appalledH8074 atH5921 H6118 their own shameH1322.16May allH3605 who seek YouH1245rejoiceH7797 and be gladH8055 in You;may those who loveH157 Your salvationH8668alwaysH8548 sayH559, “The LORDH3068 be magnifiedH1431!”

But IH589 am poorH6041 and needyH34;may the LordH136 thinkH2803 of me.YouH859 are my helperH5833 and delivererH6403;O my GodH430, do notH408 delayH309.
