Psalms 71
In You, O LORDH3068, I have taken refugeH2620; let me neverH408H5769 be put to shameH954.2In Your justiceH6666, rescueH5337 and deliver meH6403; inclineH5186 Your earH241 and save meH3467.3BeH1961 my rockH6697 of refugeH4583, where I can alwaysH8548 goH935. Give the commandH6680 to save meH3467, forH3588 YouH859 are my rockH5553 and my fortressH4686.4Deliver meH6403, O my GodH430, from the handH3027 of the wickedH7563, from the graspH3709 of the unjustH5765 and ruthlessH2556.
ForH3588 YouH859 are my hopeH8615, O LordH136 GODH3069,my confidenceH4009 from my youthH5271.6I have leanedH5564 on YouH5921 since birthH990;YouH859 pulled meH1491 from my mother’sH517 wombH4578.My praiseH8416 is alwaysH8548 for You.7I have becomeH1961 a portentH4159 to manyH7227,but YouH859 are my strongH5797 refugeH4268.8My mouthH6310 is filledH4390 with Your praiseH8416and with Your splendorH8597 allH3605 day longH3117.
Do notH408 discard meH7993H6256 in my old ageH2209;do notH408 forsake meH5800 when my strengthH3581 failsH3615.10ForH3588 my enemiesH341 speakH559 against me,and those who lie in waitH8104 for my lifeH5315 conspireH3289H3162,11sayingH559, “GodH430 has forsaken himH5800;pursue himH7291 and seize himH8610,forH3588 there is noH369 one to rescue himH5337.”
Be notH408 farH7368 from meH4480, O GodH430.HurryH2439, O my GodH430, to help meH5833.13May the accusersH7853 of my soulH5315be ashamedH954 and consumedH3615;may those who seekH1245 my harmH7451be coveredH5844 with scornH2781 and disgraceH3639.
But IH589 will alwaysH8548 hopeH3176and will praiseH8416 You moreH3254 andH5921 moreH3605.15My mouthH6310 will declareH5608 Your righteousnessH6666and Your salvationH8668 all day longH3605H3117,thoughH3588 I cannotH3808 knowH3045 their full measureH5615.16I will comeH935 in the strengthH1369 of the LordH136 GODH3069;I will proclaimH2142 Your righteousnessH6666—Yours aloneH905.
O GodH430, You have taught meH3925 from my youthH5271,and to this dayH5704H2008 I proclaimH5046 Your marvelous deedsH6381.18EvenH1571 whenH5704 I am oldH2209 and grayH7872,do notH408 forsake meH5800, O GodH430,untilH5704 I proclaimH5046 Your powerH2220 to the next generationH1755,Your mightH1369 to allH3605 who are to comeH935.19Your righteousnessH6666 reaches toH5704 the heavensH4791, O GodH430,You whoH834 have doneH6213 great thingsH1419.WhoH4310, O GodH430, is like YouH3644?
ThoughH834 You have shown meH7200 manyH7227 troublesH6869 and misfortunesH7451,You will revive meH2421 once againH7725.Even from the depthsH8415 of the earthH776You will bring meH5927 back upH7725.21You will increaseH7235 my honorH1420and comfort meH5162 once againH5437.
SoH1571 IH589 will praise YouH3034 with the harpH3627H5035for Your faithfulnessH571, O my GodH430;I will sing praiseH2167 to You with the lyreH3658,O Holy OneH6918 of IsraelH3478.23WhenH3588 I sing praiseH2167 to Youmy lipsH8193 will shout for joyH7442,along with my soulH5315,whichH834 You have redeemedH6299.24My tongueH3956 will indeed proclaimH1897Your righteousnessH6666 all day longH3605H3117,forH3588 those who seekH1245 my harmH7451are disgracedH954 andH3588 confoundedH2659.
