Psalms 92
A Psalm. A song for the Sabbath day.
1It is goodH2896 to praiseH3034 the LORDH3068,and to sing praisesH2167 to Your nameH8034, O Most HighH5945,2to proclaimH5046 Your loving devotionH2617 in the morningH1242and Your faithfulnessH530 at nightH39153withH5921 the ten-stringedH6218H5921 harpH5035H5921and the melodyH1902 of the lyreH3658.
4ForH3588 You, O LORDH3068, have made me gladH8055 by Your deedsH6467;I sing for joyH7442 at the worksH4639 of Your handsH3027.5HowH4100 greatH1431 are Your worksH4639, O LORDH3068,howH3966 deepH6009 are Your thoughtsH4284!6A senselessH1198 manH376 does notH3808 knowH3045,and a foolH3684 does notH3808 understandH995,7that though the wickedH7563 sproutH6524 likeH3644 grassH6212,and allH3605 evildoersH6466H205 flourishH6692,they will beH5704 foreverH5703 destroyedH8045.
9ForH3588 surelyH2009 Your enemiesH341, O LORDH3068,surelyH3588H2009 Your enemiesH341 will perishH6;allH3605 evildoersH6466H205 will be scatteredH6504.10But You have exaltedH7311 my hornH7161 like that of a wild oxH7214;with fineH7488 oilH8081 I have been anointedH1101.11My eyesH5869 see the downfallH5027 of my enemiesH7790;my earsH241 hearH8085 the wailingH6965 of my wickedH7489 foesH5921.1
12The righteousH6662 will flourishH6524 like a palm treeH8558,and growH7685 like a cedarH730 in LebanonH3844.13PlantedH8362 in the houseH1004 of the LORDH3068,they will flourishH6524 in the courtsH2691 of our GodH430.14In old ageH7872 they will stillH5750 bear fruitH5107;healthyH1879 and greenH7488 they will remainH1961,15to proclaimH5046H3588, “The LORDH3068 is uprightH3477; He is my RockH6697,and in Him there is noH3808 unrighteousnessH5766.”
