Psalms 115

(Psalm 135:1–21)

1NotH3808 to us, O LORDH3068, notH3808 to us,butH3588 to Your nameH8034 beH5414 the gloryH3519,because ofH5921 Your loving devotionH2617,becauseH5921 of Your faithfulnessH571.

2WhyH4100 should the nationsH1471 sayH559,“WhereH346 H4994 is their GodH430?”

3Our GodH430 is in heavenH8064;He doesH6213 asH3605 He pleasesH2654.

4Their idolsH6091 are silverH3701 and goldH2091,madeH4639 by the handsH3027 of menH120.5They have mouthsH6310, but cannotH3808 speakH1696;they have eyesH5869, but cannotH3808 seeH7200;6they have earsH241, but cannotH3808 hearH8085;they have nosesH639, but cannotH3808 smellH7306;7they have handsH3027, but cannotH3808 feelH4184;they have feetH7272, but cannotH3808 walkH1980;they cannotH3808 even clearH1897 their throatsH1627.18Those who make themH6213 becomeH1961 like themH3644,as do allH3605 whoH834 trustH982 in them.

9O IsraelH3478,2 trustH982 in the LORDH3068!HeH1931 is their helpH5828 and shieldH4043.10O houseH1004 of AaronH175, trustH982 in the LORDH3068!HeH1931 is their helpH5828 and shieldH4043.11You who fearH3373 the LORDH3068, trustH982 in the LORDH3068!HeH1931 is their helpH5828 and shieldH4043.12The LORDH3068 is mindful of usH2142;He will bless usH1288.He will blessH1288 the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478;He will blessH1288 the houseH1004 of AaronH175;13He will blessH1288 those who fearH3373 the LORDH3068—smallH6996 andH5973 great alikeH1419.

14May the LORDH3068 give you increaseH3254 H5921,both youH5921 andH5921 your childrenH1121.15May youH859 be blessedH1288 by the LORDH3068,the MakerH6213 of heavenH8064 and earthH776.

16The highest heavensH8064 belong to the LORDH3068,but the earthH776 He has givenH5414 to mankindH1121 H120.17It is notH3808 the deadH4191 who praiseH1984 the LORDH3050,norH3808 anyH3605 who descendH3381 into silenceH1745.18But it is weH587 who will blessH1288 the LORDH3050,both nowH6258 and forevermoreH5704 H5769.

HallelujahH1984 H3050!3
