2 Samuel 13:15-22
15Then AmnonH550 hatedH8130 Tamar with such intensityH1419H3966 thatH3588 his hatredH8135H8130 was greater thanH1419H8135 the loveH160 he previously hadH157. “Get upH6965!” he saidH559 to her. “Be goneH1980!”
16“NoH408H182,” she repliedH559, “sending me awayH7971 is worse thanH312 thisH2063 greatH1419 wrongH7451 you have already doneH6213 to meH5973!”
But he refusedH3808H14 to listenH8085 to her. 17Instead, he calledH7121 to his attendantH5288H8334 and saidH559, “ThrowH7971H4994 thisH2063H5921 woman outH2351 and boltH5274 the doorH1817 behind herH310!”
18So Amnon’s attendantH8334 threwH3318 herH853 outH2351 and boltedH5274 the doorH1817 behind herH310. Now Tamar was wearingH5921 a robeH3801 of many colorsH6446,1 becauseH3588 this is whatH3651 the king’sH4428 virginH1330H4598 daughtersH1323 woreH3847. 19And TamarH8559 putH3947 ashesH665 onH5921 her headH7218 and toreH7167 herH834 robeH3801. And puttingH7760 her handH3027 onH5921 her headH7218, she went awayH1980 crying aloudH2199.
20Her brotherH251 AbsalomH53 saidH559 to herH413, “Has your brotherH251 AmnonH550 beenH1961 with youH5973? Be quietH2790 for nowH6258, my sisterH269. HeH1931 is your brotherH251. Do notH408 takeH7896 thisH2088 thingH1697 to heartH3820.”
So TamarH8559 livedH3427 as a desolateH8076 woman in the houseH1004 of her brotherH251 AbsalomH53.
21When KingH4428 DavidH1732 heardH8085 allH3605 thisH428, he was furiousH2734H3966.2 22And AbsalomH53 neverH3808 said a wordH1696 toH5973 AmnonH550, either goodH2896 or badH7451H5704, becauseH3588 heH53 hatedH8130 AmnonH550 forH5921H1697 violatingH6031 his sisterH269 TamarH8559.
