14Yet you askוַאֲמַרְתֶּ֖םva.'a.mar.TemH559, “Whyעַל־ מָ֑ה'al- MahH5921 H4100?”It is becauseעַ֡ל כִּי־'al ki-H5921 H3588the LORDיְהוָה֩Yah.wehH3068has been a witnessהֵעִ֨ידhe.'IdH5749between youבֵּינְךָ֜bei.ne.KhaH996andוּבֵ֣ין׀u.VeinH996the wifeאֵ֣שֶׁת'E.shetH802of your youthנְעוּרֶ֗יךָne.'u.Rei.khaH5271,against whomאֲשֶׁ֤ר'a.SherH834youאַתָּה֙'a.TahH859have broken faithבָּגַ֣דְתָּהba.Gad.tahH898,though she isוְהִ֥יאve.Hi'H1931your companionחֲבֶרְתְּךָ֖cha.ver.te.KhaH2278and your wifeוְאֵ֥שֶׁתve.'E.shetH802by covenantבְּרִיתֶֽךָ׃be.ri.Te.khaH1285.
