15And Joshuaיְהוֹשֻׁ֙עַ֙ye.ho.Shu.a'H3091madeוַיַּ֨עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213a treatyבְּרִ֖יתbe.RitH1285of peaceשָׁל֔וֹםsha.LomH7965וַיִּכְרֹ֥תvai.yikh.RotH3772with themto let them liveלְחַיּוֹתָ֑םle.chai.yo.TamH2421,and the leadersנְשִׂיאֵ֖יne.si.'EiH5387of the congregationהָעֵדָֽה׃ha.'e.DahH5712swore an oathוַיִּשָּׁבְע֣וּvai.yi.sha.ve.'UH7650to them.

18But the Israelitesבְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔לbe.Nei Yis.ra.'ElH1121 H3478did notוְלֹ֤אve.Lo'H3808attack themהִכּוּם֙hi.KumH5221,becauseכִּֽי־ki-H3588the leadersנְשִׂיאֵ֣יne.si.'EiH5387of the congregationהָֽעֵדָ֔הha.'e.DahH5712had sworn an oathנִשְׁבְּע֤וּnish.be.'UH7650to themby the LORDבַּֽיהוָ֖הba.Yah.wehH3068,the Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478.And the wholeכָל־khol-H3605congregationהָעֵדָ֖הha.'e.DahH5712grumbledוַיִּלֹּ֥נוּvai.yi.Lo.nuH3885againstעַל־'al-H5921the leadersהַנְּשִׂיאִֽים׃ha.ne.si.'ImH5387.
