12Now it was reportedוַיֻּגַּ֗דvai.yu.GadH5046to Kingלַמֶּ֣לֶךְla.Me.lekhH4428Davidדָּוִד֮ לֵאמֹר֒da.Vid le.MorH1732 H559, “The LORDיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068אֶת־'et-H853has blessedבֵּרַ֣ךְbe.RakhH1288the houseבֵּ֨יתbeitH1004of Obed-edomH5654andוְאֶת־ve.'EtH853allכָּל־kol-H3605thatאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834belongs to him,because ofבַּעֲב֖וּרba.'a.VurH5668the arkאֲר֣וֹן'a.RonH727of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֑יםha.'E.lo.HimH430.”So Davidדָּוִ֗דda.VidH1732wentוַיֵּ֣לֶךְvai.Ye.lekhH1980and had the arkאֲר֨וֹן'a.RonH727of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֜יםha.'E.lo.HimH430brought upוַיַּעַל֩vai.ya.'AlH5927אֶת־'et-H853from the houseמִבֵּ֨יתmi.BeitH1004of Obed-edomH5654into the Cityעִ֥יר'irH5892of Davidדָּוִ֖דda.VidH1732with rejoicingבְּשִׂמְחָֽה׃be.sim.ChahH8057.

13וַיְהִ֗יvay.HiH1961Whenכִּ֧יkiH3588those carryingנֹשְׂאֵ֥יno.se.'EiH5375the arkאֲרוֹן־'a.ron-H727of the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068had advancedצָעֲד֛וּtza.'a.DuH6805sixשִׁשָּׁ֣הshi.ShahH8337pacesצְעָדִ֑יםtze.'a.DimH6806,he sacrificedוַיִּזְבַּ֥חvai.yiz.BachH2076an oxשׁ֖וֹרShorH7794and a fattened calfוּמְרִֽיא׃u.me.Ri'H4806.

14And Davidוְדָוִ֛דve.da.VidH1732וְדָוִ֕דve.da.VidH1732,wearingחָג֖וּרcha.GurH2296a linenבָּֽד׃BadH906ephodאֵפ֥וֹד'e.FodH646,dancedמְכַרְכֵּ֥רme.khar.KerH3769with allבְּכָל־be.kholH3605his mightעֹ֖ז'ozH5797beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440the LORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,

15while heוְדָוִד֙ve.da.VidH1732and allוְכָל־ve.kholH3605the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478brought upמַעֲלִ֖יםma.'a.LimH5927אֶת־'et-H853the arkאֲר֣וֹן'a.RonH727of the LORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068with shoutingבִּתְרוּעָ֖הbit.ru.'AhH8643and the soundingוּבְק֥וֹלu.ve.KolH6963of the ram’s hornשׁוֹפָֽר׃sho.FarH7782.

16וְהָיָה֙ve.ha.YahH1961As the arkאֲר֣וֹן'a.RonH727of the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068was enteringבָּ֖אba'H935the Cityעִ֣יר'irH5892of Davidדָּוִ֑דda.VidH1732,Saul’sשָׁא֜וּלsha.'UlH7586daughterבַּת־bat-H1323Michalוּמִיכַ֨לu.mi.KhalH4324looked downנִשְׁקְפָ֣ה׀nish.ke.FahH8259fromבְּעַ֣דbe.'AdH1157a windowהַחַלּ֗וֹןha.cha.LonH2474and sawוַתֵּ֨רֶאva.Te.re'H7200אֶת־'et-H853Kingהַמֶּ֤לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428Davidדָּוִד֙da.VidH1732leapingמְפַזֵּ֤זme.fa.ZezH6339and dancingוּמְכַרְכֵּר֙u.me.khar.KerH3769beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,and she despisedוַתִּ֥בֶזva.Ti.vezH959himin her heartבְּלִבָּֽהּ׃be.li.BahH3820.

17So they broughtוַיָּבִ֜אוּvai.ya.Vi.'uH935אֶת־'et-H853the arkאֲר֣וֹן'a.RonH727of the LORDיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068and setוַיַּצִּ֤גוּvai.ya.Tzi.guH3322itאֹתוֹ֙'o.ToH853in its placeבִּמְקוֹמ֔וֹbim.ko.MoH4725insideבְּת֣וֹךְbe.TokhH8432the tentהָאֹ֔הֶלha.'O.helH168thatאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834Davidדָּוִ֑דda.VidH1732had pitchedנָטָה־na.tah-H5186for it.Then Davidדָּוִ֥דda.VidH1732offeredוַיַּ֨עַלvai.Ya.'alH5927burnt offeringsעֹל֛וֹתo.LotH5930and peace offeringsוּשְׁלָמִֽים׃u.she.la.MimH8002beforeלִפְנֵ֥יlif.NeiH6440the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068.

18When Davidדָּוִ֔דda.VidH1732had finishedוַיְכַ֣לvay.KhalH3615sacrificingמֵהַעֲל֥וֹתme.ha.'a.LotH5927the burnt offeringsהָעוֹלָ֖הha.'o.LahH5930and peace offeringsוְהַשְּׁלָמִ֑יםve.ha.she.la.MimH8002,he blessedוַיְבָ֣רֶךְvay.Va.rekhH1288אֶת־'et-H853the peopleהָעָ֔םha.'AmH5971in the nameבְּשֵׁ֖םbe.ShemH8034of the LORDיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of Hostsצְבָאֽוֹת׃tze.va.'otH6635.
