15and saidוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559: “Blessedבָּר֤וּךְba.RukhH1288bethe LORDיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068,the Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478, whoאֲשֶׁר֙'a.SherH834has fulfilledמִלֵּ֖אmi.Le'H4390with His own handוּבְיָד֥וֹu.ve.ya.DoH3027what He spokeדִּבֶּ֣רdi.BerH1696with His mouthבְּפִ֔יוbe.FivH6310toאֵ֖ת'etH854my fatherאָבִ֑י'a.ViH1Davidדָּוִ֣דda.VidH1732,sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

17Now it wasוַיְהִ֕יvay.HiH1961inעִם־'im-H5973the heartלְבַ֖בle.VavH3824of my fatherאָבִ֑י'a.ViH1Davidדָּוִ֣דda.VidH1732to buildלִבְנ֣וֹתliv.NotH1129a houseבַּ֔יִתBa.yitH1004for the Nameלְשֵׁ֥םle.ShemH8034of the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,the Godאֱלֹהֵ֥י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.

18But the LORDיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559toאֶל־'el-H413my fatherאָבִ֔י'a.ViH1Davidדָּוִ֣דda.VidH1732, ‘Sinceיַ֗עַןYa.'anH3282אֲשֶׁ֤ר'a.SherH834it wasהָיָה֙ha.YahH1961inעִם־'im-H5973your heartלְבָ֣בְךָ֔le.Va.ve.khaH3824to buildלִבְנ֥וֹתliv.NotH1129a houseבַּ֖יִתBa.yitH1004for My Nameלִשְׁמִ֑יlish.MiH8034,you have done wellהֱטִיבֹ֔תָ כִּ֥יhe.ti.Vo.ta kiH2895 H3588to have thisהָיָ֖הha.YahH1961inעִם־'im-H5973your heartלְבָבֶֽךָ׃le.va.Ve.khaH3824.

19Neverthelessרַ֣קrakH7535,youאַתָּ֔ה'a.TahH859are notלֹ֥אlo'H3808the one to build itתִבְנֶ֖ה הַבָּ֑יִתtiv.Neh ha.Ba.yitH1129 H1004;butכִּ֤י אִם־ki 'im-H3588 H518your sonבִּנְךָ֙bin.KhaH1121,your own offspringהַיֹּצֵ֣א מֵחֲלָצֶ֔יךָ הֽוּא־hai.yo.Tze' me.cha.la.Tzei.kha hu'-H3318 H2504 H1931,will buildיִבְנֶ֥הyiv.NehH1129the houseהַבַּ֖יִתha.Ba.yitH1004for My Nameלִשְׁמִֽי׃lish.MiH8034.’

21And there I have providedוָאָשִׂ֨ם שָׁ֤םva.'a.Sim shamH7760 H8033a placeמָקוֹם֙ma.kOmH4725for the arkלָֽאָר֔וֹןla.'a.RonH727,which containsאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834שָׁ֖םshamH8033the covenantבְּרִ֣יתbe.RitH1285of the LORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068thatאֲשֶׁ֤ר'a.SherH834He madeכָּרַת֙ka.RatH3772withעִם־'im-H5973our fathersאֲבֹתֵ֔ינוּ'a.vo.Tei.nuH1when He brought them outבְּהוֹצִיא֥וֹbe.ho.tzi.'OH3318אֹתָ֖ם'o.TamH853of the landמֵאֶ֥רֶץme.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרָֽיִם׃ סmitz.Ra.yimH4714.”

22Then Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֗הshe.lo.MohH8010stoodוַיַּעֲמֹ֣דvai.ya.'a.ModH5975beforeלִפְנֵי֙lif.NeiH6440the altarמִזְבַּ֣חmiz.BachH4196of the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068in front ofנֶ֖גֶדNe.gedH5048the wholeכָּל־kol-H3605assemblyקְהַ֣לke.HalH6951of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478,spread outוַיִּפְרֹ֥שׂvai.yif.RosH6566his handsכַּפָּ֖יוka.PavH3709toward heavenהַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃ha.sha.Ma.yimH8064,

23and saidוַיֹּאמַ֗רvai.yo.MarH559: “O LORDיְהוָ֞הYah.wehH3068,Godאֱלֹהֵ֤י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478,there is noאֵין־'ein-H369Godאֱלֹהִ֔ים'E.lo.HimH430like Youכָּמ֣וֹךָka.Mo.khaH3644in heavenבַּשָּׁמַ֣יִםba.sha.Ma.yimH8064aboveמִמַּ֔עַלmi.Ma.'alH4605or onוְעַל־ve.'al-H5921earthהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776belowמִתָּ֑חַתmi.Ta.chatH8478,keepingשֹׁמֵ֤רsho.MerH8104Yourcovenantהַבְּרִית֙ha.be.RitH1285of loving devotionוְֽהַחֶ֔סֶדve.ha.Che.sedH2617with Your servantsלַעֲבָדֶ֕יךָla.'a.va.Dei.khaH5650who walkהַהֹלְכִ֥יםha.ho.le.KhimH1980before Youלְפָנֶ֖יךָle.fa.Nei.khaH6440with allבְּכָל־be.kholH3605their heartsלִבָּֽם׃li.BamH3820.
