7Now as Obadiahעֹבַדְיָ֙הוּ֙'oad.Ya.huH5662wentוַיְהִ֤יvay.HiH1961on his wayבַּדֶּ֔רֶךְba.De.rekhH1870,Elijahאֵלִיָּ֖הוּ'e.li.Ya.huH452suddenlyוְהִנֵּ֥הve.hi.NehH2009met himלִקְרָאת֑וֹlik.ra.ToH7122.When Obadiah recognized himוַיַּכִּרֵ֙הוּ֙vai.ya.ki.Re.huH5234,he fellוַיִּפֹּ֣לvai.yi.PolH5307facedownעַל־ פָּנָ֔יו'al- pa.NavH5921 H6440and saidוַיֹּ֕אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Is itזֶ֖הzehH2088youהַאַתָּ֥הha.'a.TahH859,my lordאֲדֹנִ֥י'a.do.NiH113Elijahאֵלִיָּֽהוּ׃'e.li.Ya.huH452?”

8“It isIאָ֑נִי'A.niH589,”he answeredוַיֹּ֥אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559. “Goלֵ֛ךְlekhH1980tellאֱמֹ֥ר'e.MorH559your masterלַאדֹנֶ֖יךָla.do.Nei.khaH113, ‘Elijahאֵלִיָּֽהוּ׃'e.li.Ya.huH452is hereהִנֵּ֥הhi.NehH2009!’”

9But Obadiah repliedוַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Howמֶ֣הmehH4100have I sinnedחָטָ֑אתִיcha.Ta.tiH2398,thatכִּֽי־ki-H3588youאַתָּ֞ה'a.TahH859are handing your servantעַבְדְּךָ֛'av.de.KhaH5650over toנֹתֵ֧ןno.TenH5414אֶֽת־'et-H853בְּיַד־be.yad-H3027Ahabאַחְאָ֖ב'ach.'AvH256to put me to deathלַהֲמִיתֵֽנִי׃la.ha.mi.Te.niH4191?

10As surely as the LORDיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶ֗יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430livesחַ֣י׀chaiH2416,there isיֶשׁ־yesh-H3426noאִם־'im-H518nationגּ֤וֹיGoyH1471or kingdomוּמַמְלָכָה֙u.mam.la.KhahH4467whereאֲ֠שֶׁר'a.SherH834my lordאֲדֹנִ֥י שָׁם֙'a.do.Ni shamH113 H8033has notלֹֽא־lo'-H3808sentשָׁלַ֨חsha.LachH7971someone to search for youלְבַקֶּשְׁךָ֔le.va.kesh.ChaH1245.When they saidוְאָמְר֖וּve.'a.me.RuH559, ‘He isnotאָ֑יִן'A.yinH369here,’he made that kingdomהַמַּמְלָכָה֙ha.mam.la.KhahH4467אֶת־'et-H853or nationהַגּ֔וֹי כִּ֖יha.Goy kiH1471 H3588swearוְהִשְׁבִּ֤יעַve.hish.Bi.a'H7650thatוְאֶת־ve.'EtH853they had notלֹ֥אlo'H3808found youיִמְצָאֶֽכָּה׃yim.tza.'E.kahH4672.
