50But Adonijahוַאֲדֹ֣נִיָּ֔הוּva.'a.Do.ni.Ya.huH138,in fearיָרֵ֖אya.Re'H3372ofמִפְּנֵ֣יmi.pe.NeiH6440Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֑הshe.lo.MohH8010,got upוַיָּ֣קָםvai.Ya.komH6965and wentוַיֵּ֔לֶךְvai.Ye.lekhH1980to take holdוַֽיַּחֲזֵ֖קvai.ya.cha.ZekH2388of the hornsבְּקַרְנ֥וֹתbe.kar.NotH7161of the altarהַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃ha.miz.Be.achH4196.

51It was reportedוַיֻּגַּ֤דvai.yu.GadH5046to Solomonלִשְׁלֹמֹה֙lish.lo.MohH8010לֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559: “Beholdהִנֵּה֙hi.NehH2009,Adonijahאֲדֹ֣נִיָּ֔הוּ'a.Do.ni.Ya.huH138fearsיָרֵ֖אya.Re'H3372אֶת־'et-H853Kingהַמֶּ֣לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֑ה וְ֠הִנֵּהshe.lo.Moh Ve.hi.nehH8010 H2009,and he has taken holdאָחַ֞ז'a.ChazH270of the hornsבְּקַרְנ֤וֹתbe.kar.NotH7161of the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֙חַ֙ha.miz.Be.achH4196,sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559, ‘Let Kingהַמֶּ֣לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֔הshe.lo.MohH8010firstכַיּוֹם֙khai.yOmH3117swearיִשָּֽׁבַֽע־yi.sha.va'-H7650to menotאִם־'im-H518to putיָמִ֥יתya.MitH4191אֶת־'et-H853his servantעַבְדּ֖וֹav.DoH5650to the swordבֶּחָֽרֶב׃be.Cha.revH2719.’”

52And Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֔הshe.lo.MohH8010repliedוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Ifאִ֚ם'imH518he isיִהְיֶ֣הyih.YehH1961a manלְבֶן־le.ven-H1121of characterחַ֔יִלCha.yilH2428,notלֹֽא־lo'-H3808a single hair of hisמִשַּׂעֲרָת֖וֹmi.sa.'a.ra.ToH8185will fallיִפֹּ֥לyi.PolH5307to the groundאָ֑רְצָה'A.re.tzahH776.But ifוְאִם־ve.'im-H518evilרָעָ֥הra.'AhH7451is foundתִמָּצֵא־ti.ma.tze'-H4672in him,he will dieוָמֵֽת׃va.MetH4191.”

53So Kingהַמֶּ֣לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֗הshe.lo.MohH8010summonedוַיִּשְׁלַ֞חvai.yish.LachH7971Adonijahdownוַיֹּרִדֻ֙הוּ֙vai.yo.ri.Du.huH3381fromמֵעַ֣לme.'AlH5921the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַha.miz.Be.achH4196,and he cameוַיָּבֹ֕אvai.ya.Vo'H935and bowed downוַיִּשְׁתַּ֖חוּvai.yish.Ta.chuH7812before Kingלַמֶּ֣לֶךְla.Me.lekhH4428Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֑הshe.lo.MohH8010, whoשְׁלֹמֹ֖הshe.lo.MohH8010saidוַיֹּֽאמֶר־vai.yo.mer-H559to him, “Goלֵ֥ךְlekhH1980to your homeלְבֵיתֶֽךָ׃ פle.vei.Te.khaH1004.”
