28Then Kingהַמֶּ֤לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428Davidדָּוִד֙da.VidH1732saidוַיַּ֨עַןvai.Ya.'anH6030וַיֹּ֔אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Call inקִרְאוּ־kir.'u-H7121BathshebaH1339for me.”So she cameוַתָּבֹא֙va.ta.Vo'H935into the king’sהַמֶּ֔לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428presenceלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440and stoodוַֽתַּעֲמֹ֖דva.ta.'a.ModH5975before himלִפְנֵ֥י הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃lif.Nei ha.Me.lekhH6440 H4428.

29And the kingהַמֶּ֖לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428swore an oathוַיִּשָּׁבַ֥עvai.yi.sha.Va'H7650,sayingוַיֹּאמַ֑רvai.yo.MarH559, “As surely as the LORDיְהוָ֕הYah.wehH3068livesחַי־chai-H2416,whoאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834has redeemedפָּדָ֥הpa.DahH6299אֶת־'et-H853my lifeנַפְשִׁ֖יnaf.ShiH5315from allמִכָּל־mi.kolH3605distressצָרָֽה׃tza.RahH6869,

30כִּ֡יkiH3588I will carry outאֶעֱשֶׂ֖ה'e.'e.SehH6213כֵּ֥ןkenH3651this veryהַזֶּֽה׃ha.ZehH2088dayהַיּ֥וֹםhai.YomH3117exactlyכִּֽי־ki-H3588whatכַּאֲשֶׁר֩ka.'a.SherH834I sworeנִשְׁבַּ֨עְתִּיnish.Ba'.tiH7650to youby the LORDבַּיהוָ֨הba.Yah.wehH3068,the Godאֱלֹהֵ֤י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙ לֵאמֹ֔רYis.ra.'El le.MorH3478 H559:Surelyכִּ֛יkiH3588your sonבְנֵךְ֙ve.neKhH1121Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֤הshe.lo.MohH8010will reignיִמְלֹ֣ךְyim.LokhH4427after meאַחֲרַ֔י'a.cha.RaiH310,and heוְה֛וּאve.Hu'H1931will sitיֵשֵׁ֥בye.ShevH3427onעַל־'al-H5921my throneכִּסְאִ֖יkis.'IH3678in my placeתַּחְתָּ֑יtach.TaiH8478.”

31BathshebaH1339bowedוַתִּקֹּ֨דva.ti.KodH6915facedownאַפַּ֙יִם֙ אֶ֔רֶץ'a.Pa.yim 'E.retzH639 H776in homageוַתִּשְׁתַּ֖חוּva.tish.Ta.chuH7812to the kingלַמֶּ֑לֶךְla.Me.lekhH4428and saidוַתֹּ֕אמֶרva.To.merH559, “May my lordאֲדֹנִ֛י'a.do.NiH113Kingהַמֶּ֥לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428Davidדָּוִ֖דda.VidH1732liveיְחִ֗יye.ChiH2421foreverלְעֹלָֽם׃ פle.'o.LamH5769!”

32Then Kingהַמֶּ֣לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428Davidדָּוִ֗דda.VidH1732saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶר׀vai.Yo.merH559, “Call inקִרְאוּ־kir.'u-H7121for meZadokלְצָד֤וֹקle.tza.DokH6659the priestהַכֹּהֵן֙ha.ko.HenH3548,Nathanוּלְנָתָ֣ןu.le.na.TanH5416the prophetהַנָּבִ֔יאha.na.Vi'H5030,and Benaiahוְלִבְנָיָ֖הוּve.liv.na.Ya.huH1141sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Jehoiadaיְהוֹיָדָ֑עye.ho.ya.Da'H3077.”So they cameוַיָּבֹ֖אוּvai.ya.Vo.'uH935beforeלִפְנֵ֥יlif.NeiH6440the kingהַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ha.Me.lekhH4428.

33“Takeקְח֤וּke.ChuH3947my servantsעַבְדֵ֣י אֲדֹנֵיכֶ֔ם'av.Dei 'a.do.nei.KhemH5650 H113with youעִמָּכֶם֙'i.ma.KhemH5973אֶת־'et-H853,”saidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559the kingהַמֶּ֜לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428. “Setוְהִרְכַּבְתֶּם֙ve.hir.kav.TemH7392my sonבְנִ֔יve.NiH1121Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֣הshe.lo.MohH8010אֶת־'et-H853onעַל־'al-H5921my own muleהַפִּרְדָּ֖הha.pir.DahH6506אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834and take him downוְהוֹרַדְתֶּ֥םve.ho.rad.TemH3381אֹת֖וֹ'o.ToH853toאֶל־'el-H413Gihonגִּחֽוֹן׃gi.ChonH1521.
