20In earlier timesלְפָנִ֖יםle.fa.NimH6440Phinehasוּפִֽינְחָ֣סu.fin.ChasH6372sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Eleazarאֶלְעָזָ֗ר'el.'a.ZarH499had beenהָיָ֧הha.YahH1961in chargeנָגִ֨ידna.GidH5057ofעֲלֵיהֶ֛ם'a.lei.HemH5921the gatekeepers,and the LORDיְהוָ֥ה׀Yah.wehH3068was with himעִמּֽוֹ׃i.MoH5973.

21Zechariahזְכַרְיָה֙ze.khar.YahH2148sonבֶּ֣ןbenH1121of Meshelemiahמְשֶֽׁלֶמְיָ֔הme.she.lem.YahH4920was the gatekeeperשֹׁעֵ֥רsho.'ErH7778at the entranceפֶּ֖תַחPe.tachH6607to the Tentלְאֹ֥הֶלle.'O.helH168of Meetingמוֹעֵֽד׃mo.'EdH4150.

23So theyוְהֵ֨םve.HemH1992and their descendantsוּבְנֵיהֶ֜םu.ve.nei.HemH1121were assigned toעַל־'al-H5921guardלְמִשְׁמָרֽוֹת׃le.mish.ma.RotH4931the gatesהַשְּׁעָרִ֧יםha.she.'a.RimH8179of the houseלְבֵית־le.veit-H1004of the LORDיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068—the houseלְבֵ֥ית־le.Veit-H1004called the Tentהָאֹ֖הֶלha.'O.helH168.

24The gatekeepersהַשֹּׁעֲרִ֑יםha.sho.'a.RimH7778were stationedיִהְי֖וּyih.YuH1961on the fourלְאַרְבַּ֣עle.'ar.Ba'H702sidesרוּח֔וֹתru.ChotH7307:eastמִזְרָ֥חmiz.RachH4217,westיָ֖מָּהYa.mahH3220,northצָפ֥וֹנָהtza.Fo.nahH6828,and southוָנֶֽגְבָּה׃va.Neg.bahH5045.

25Their relativesוַאֲחֵיהֶ֨םva.'a.chei.HemH251cameלָב֨וֹאla.Vo'H935from their villagesבְּחַצְרֵיהֶ֜םbe.chatz.rei.HemH2691at fixed timesאֶל־'el-H6256 H413to serve withעִם־'im-H5973themאֵֽלֶּה׃'E.lehH428for seven-day periodsלְשִׁבְעַ֧ת הַיָּמִ֛יםle.shiv.'At hai.ya.MimH7651 H3117.

29Others were putמְמֻנִּים֙me.mu.NimH4487in charge ofעַל־'al-H5921the furnishingsהַכֵּלִ֔ים וְעַ֖לha.ke.Lim ve.'AlH3627 H5921and otherכָּל־kol-H3605articlesכְּלֵ֣יke.LeiH3627of the sanctuaryהַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ וְעַל־ha.Ko.desh ve.'al-H6944 H5921,as well as the fine flourהַסֹּ֙לֶת֙ha.So.letH5560,wineוְהַיַּ֣יִןve.hai.Ya.yinH3196,oilוְהַשֶּׁ֔מֶןve.ha.She.menH8081,frankincenseוְהַלְּבוֹנָ֖הve.ha.le.vo.NahH3828,and spicesוְהַבְּשָׂמִֽים׃ve.ha.be.sa.MimH1314.

30Andוּמִן־u.min-H4480someof the sonsבְּנֵי֙be.NeiH1121of the priestsהַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔יםha.Ko.ha.NimH3548mixedרֹקְחֵ֥י הַמִּרְקַ֖חַתro.ke.Chei ha.mir.Ka.chatH7543 H4842the spicesלַבְּשָׂמִֽים׃la.be.sa.MimH1314.
