20And Phinehasוּפִֽינְחָ֣סu.fin.ChasH6372the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Eleazarאֶלְעָזָ֗ר'el.'a.ZarH499was the rulerנָגִ֨ידna.GidH5057over them in time pastלְפָנִ֖יםle.fa.NimH6440, andthe Lordיְהוָ֥ה׀Yah.wehH3068was with him.

23So they and their childrenוּבְנֵיהֶ֜םu.ve.nei.HemH1121hadthe oversight of the gatesהַשְּׁעָרִ֧יםha.she.'a.RimH8179of the houseלְבֵית־le.veit-H1004of the Lordיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068, namely,the houseלְבֵ֥ית־le.Veit-H1004of the tabernacleהָאֹ֖הֶלha.'O.helH168,by wardsלְמִשְׁמָרֽוֹת׃le.mish.ma.RotH4931.

24In fourלְאַרְבַּ֣עle.'ar.Ba'H702quartersרוּח֔וֹתru.ChotH7307were the portersהַשֹּׁעֲרִ֑יםha.sho.'a.RimH7778,toward the eastמִזְרָ֥חmiz.RachH4217,westיָ֖מָּהYa.mahH3220,northצָפ֥וֹנָהtza.Fo.nahH6828,and southוָנֶֽגְבָּה׃va.Neg.bahH5045.

25And their brethrenוַאֲחֵיהֶ֨םva.'a.chei.HemH251, which werein their villagesבְּחַצְרֵיהֶ֜םbe.chatz.rei.HemH2691, wereto comeלָב֨וֹאla.Vo'H935after sevenלְשִׁבְעַ֧תle.shiv.'AtH7651daysהַיָּמִ֛יםhai.ya.MimH3117from timeמֵעֵ֥תme.'EtH6256to timeעֵ֖ת'etH6256with them.

26For these Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֑םhal.vi.YimH3881,the fourאַרְבַּ֙עַת֙'ar.Ba.'atH702chiefגִּבֹּרֵ֣יgi.bo.ReiH1368portersהַשֹּׁעֲרִ֔יםha.sho.'a.RimH7778, were in theirset officeבֶאֱמוּנָ֞הve.'e.mu.NahH530,and were over the chambersהַלְּשָׁכ֔וֹתha.le.sha.KhotH3957and treasuriesהָאֹצְר֖וֹתha.'o.tze.RotH214of the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of Godהָאֱלֹהִֽים׃ha.'E.lo.HimH430.

27And they lodgedיָלִ֑ינוּya.Li.nuH3885round aboutוּסְבִיב֥וֹתu.se.vi.VotH5439the houseבֵּית־beit-H1004of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֖יםha.'E.lo.HimH430,because the chargeמִשְׁמֶ֔רֶתmish.Me.retH4931wasupon them, and the openingהַמַּפְתֵּ֖חַha.maf.Te.achH4668thereof every morningH1242pertained to them.

28And certainof them had the charge ofעַל־'al-H5921the ministeringהָעֲבוֹדָ֑הha.'a.vo.DahH5656vesselsכְּלֵ֣יke.LeiH3627,that they should bring them inיְבִיא֔וּםye.vi.'UmH935and outיוֹצִיאֽוּם׃yo.tzi.'UmH3318by taleH4557.

29Some of them also wereappointedמְמֻנִּים֙me.mu.NimH4487to oversee the vesselsהַכֵּלִ֔יםha.ke.LimH3627,and all the instrumentsכְּלֵ֣יke.LeiH3627of the sanctuaryהַקֹּ֑דֶשׁha.Ko.deshH6944,and the fine flourהַסֹּ֙לֶת֙ha.So.letH5560,and the wineוְהַיַּ֣יִןve.hai.Ya.yinH3196,and the oilוְהַשֶּׁ֔מֶןve.ha.She.menH8081,and the frankincenseוְהַלְּבוֹנָ֖הve.ha.le.vo.NahH3828,and the spicesוְהַבְּשָׂמִֽים׃ve.ha.be.sa.MimH1314.

30And someof the sonsבְּנֵי֙be.NeiH1121of the priestsהַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔יםha.Ko.ha.NimH3548madeרֹקְחֵ֥יro.ke.CheiH7543the ointmentהַמִּרְקַ֖חַתha.mir.Ka.chatH4842of the spicesלַבְּשָׂמִֽים׃la.be.sa.MimH1314.

31And Mattithiahוּמַתִּתְיָה֙u.ma.tit.YahH4993, oneof the Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֔םhal.vi.YimH3881, who wasthe firstbornהַבְּכ֖וֹרha.be.KhorH1060of Shallumלְשַׁלֻּ֣םle.sha.LumH7967the Korahiteהַקָּרְחִ֑יha.ka.re.ChiH7145,had the set officeבֶּאֱמוּנָ֕הbe.'e.mu.NahH530over the things that were madeמַעֲשֵׂ֥הma.'a.SehH4639in the pansהַחֲבִתִּֽים׃ha.cha.vi.TimH2281.

32And otherof their brethrenאֲחֵיהֶ֖ם'a.chei.HemH251,of the sonsבְּנֵ֧יbe.NeiH1121of the Kohathitesהַקְּהָתִ֛יha.ke.ha.TiH6956, wereover the shewbreadלֶ֣חֶם הַֽמַּעֲרָ֑כֶתLe.chem ha.ma.'a.Ra.khetH4635 H3899,to prepareלְהָכִ֖יןle.ha.KhinH3559itevery sabbathH7676.
