Thessalonians 2:1-7
For yourselves, brethren, know our entering in unto you, that it hath not been found vainG2756:
but having suffered before and been shamefully treated, as ye know, at PhilippiG5375, we waxed bold in our GodG2316 to speakG2980 unto you the gospelG2098 of GodG2316 in muchG4183 conflictG73.
For our exhortationG3874 is not of errorG4106, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile:
but even as we have been approved of GodG2316 to be intrusted with the gospelG2098, so we speakG2980; not as pleasingG700 menG444, but GodG2316 who proveth our heartsG2588.
For neither at any timeG4218 were we found using wordsG3056 of flattery, as ye know, nor a cloak of covetousnessG4124, GodG2316 is witnessG3144;
nor seekingG2212 gloryG1391 of menG444, neither from you nor from othersG243, whenG5613 we might have claimed authority as apostlesG652 of ChristG5547.
But we wereG1510 gentle in the midstG3319 of you, as whenG5613 a nurse cherisheth her ownG1438 childrenG5043:
