4And when he shall standupוּכְעָמְדוֹ֙u.khe.'a.me.DoH5975, hiskingdomמַלְכוּת֔וֹmal.khu.ToH4438shall bebrokenתִּשָּׁבֵ֣רti.sha.VerH7665, and shall bedividedוְתֵחָ֕ץve.te.ChatzH2673toward thefourלְאַרְבַּ֖עle.'ar.Ba'H702windsרוּח֣וֹתru.ChotH7307ofheavenהַשָּׁמָ֑יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064; and not to hisposterityלְאַחֲרִית֗וֹle.'a.cha.ri.ToH319, nor according to hisdominionכְמָשְׁלוֹ֙khe.ma.she.LoH4915which heruledמָשָׁ֔לma.ShalH4910: for hiskingdomמַלְכוּת֔וֹmal.khu.ToH4438shall be pluckedupתִנָּתֵשׁ֙ti.na.TeshH5428, even forothersוְלַאֲחֵרִ֖יםve.la.'a.che.RimH312beside those.
5And thekingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of thesouthהַנֶּ֖גֶבha.Ne.gevH5045shall bestrongוְיֶחֱזַ֥קve.ye.che.ZakH2388, and one of hisprincesשָׂרָ֑יוsa.RavH8269; and he shall bestrongוְיֶחֱזַ֤קve.ye.che.ZakH2388above him, and havedominionוּמָשָׁ֔לu.ma.ShalH4910; hisdominionמֶמְשַׁלְתּֽוֹ׃mem.shal.ToH4475shall be agreatרַ֖בravH7227dominionמִמְשָׁ֥לmi.ShalH4474.
6And in theendוּלְקֵ֤ץu.le.KetzH7093ofyearsשָׁנִים֙sha.NimH8141they shall join themselvestogetherיִתְחַבָּ֔רוּyit.cha.Ba.ruH2266; for theking’sמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428daughterוּבַ֣תu.VatH1323of thesouthהַנֶּ֗גֶבha.Ne.gevH5045shallcomeתָּבוֹא֙ta.Vo'H935to thekingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of thenorthהַצָּפ֔וֹןha.tza.FonH6828tomakeלַעֲשׂ֖וֹתla.'a.SotH6213anagreementמֵישָׁרִ֑יםmei.sha.RimH4339: but she shall notretainתַעְצֹ֞רta'.TzorH6113thepowerכּ֣וֹחַKo.achH3581of thearmהַזְּר֗וֹעַha.ze.Ro.a'H2220; neither shall hestandיַעֲמֹד֙ya.'a.ModH5975, nor hisarmוּזְרֹע֔וֹu.ze.ro.'OH2220: but she shall be givenupוְתִנָּתֵ֨ןve.ti.na.TenH5414, and they thatbroughtוּמְבִיאֶ֙יהָ֙u.me.vi.'Ei.haH935her, and he thatbegatוְהַיֹּ֣לְדָ֔הּve.hai.Yo.le.DahH3205her, and he thatstrengthenedוּמַחֲזִקָ֖הּu.ma.cha.zi.KahH2388her in thesetimesבָּעִתִּֽים׃ba.'i.TimH6256.
7But out of abranchמִנֵּ֥צֶרmi.Ne.tzerH5342of herrootsשָׁרָשֶׁ֖יהָsha.ra.Shei.haH8328shall one standupוְעָמַ֛דve.'a.MadH5975in hisestateכַּנּ֑וֹka.NoH3653, who shallcomeוְיָבֹ֣אve.ya.Vo'H935with anarmyהַחַ֗יִלha.Cha.yilH2428, and shallenterוְיָבֹא֙ve.ya.Vo'H935into thefortressבְּמָעוֹז֙be.ma.'OzH4581of thekingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of thenorthהַצָּפ֔וֹןha.tza.FonH6828, and shalldealוְעָשָׂ֥הve.'a.SahH6213against them, and shallprevailוְהֶחֱזִֽיק׃ve.he.che.ZikH2388:

10But hissonsוּבָנָ֣יוuv.novH1121shall be stirredupיִתְגָּר֗וּyit.ga.RuH1624, and shallassembleוְאָסְפוּ֙ve.'a.se.FuH622amultitudeהֲמוֹן֙ha.mOnH1995ofgreatרַבִּ֔יםra.BimH7227forcesחֲיָלִ֣יםcha.ya.LimH2428: and one shallcertainlyוּבָ֥אu.Va'H935comeב֖וֹאVo'H935, andoverflowוְשָׁטַ֣ףve.sha.TafH7857, and passthroughוְעָבָ֑רve.'a.VarH5674: then shall hereturnוְיָשֹׁ֥בve.ya.ShoH7725, and be stirredupוְיִתְגָּרֶ֖הve.yit.ga.ruH1624, even to hisfortressמָעֻזּֽוֹ׃ma.'u.zoH4581.
11And thekingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of thesouthהַנֶּ֔גֶבha.Ne.gevH5045shall be moved withangerוְיִתְמַרְמַר֙ve.yit.mar.MarH4843, and shall comeforthוְיָצָ֕אve.ya.Tza'H3318andfightוְנִלְחַ֥םve.nil.ChamH3898with him, even with thekingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of thenorthהַצָּפ֑וֹןha.tza.FonH6828: and he shall setforthוְהֶעֱמִיד֙ve.he.'e.MidH5975agreatרָ֔בRavH7227multitudeהָמ֣וֹןha.MonH1995; but themultitudeהֶהָמ֖וֹןhe.ha.MonH1995shall begivenוְנִתַּ֥ןve.ni.TanH5414into hishandבְּיָדֽוֹ׃be.ya.DoH3027.

14And in thosetimesוּבָעִתִּ֣יםu.va.'i.TimH6256there shallmanyרַבִּ֥יםra.BimH7227standupיַֽעַמְד֖וּya.'am.DuH5975against thekingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of thesouthהַנֶּ֑גֶבha.Ne.gevH5045: also therobbersוּבְנֵ֣י׀ פָּרִיצֵ֣יu.ve.Nei pa.ri.TzeiH1121H6530of thypeopleעַמְּךָ֗'a.me.KhaH5971shallexaltיִֽנַּשְּׂא֛וּyi.na.se.'UH5375themselves toestablishלְהַעֲמִ֥ידle.ha.'a.MidH5975thevisionחָז֖וֹןcha.ZonH2377; but they shallfallוְנִכְשָֽׁלוּ׃ve.nikh.Sha.luH3782.
15So thekingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of thenorthהַצָּפ֔וֹןha.tza.FonH6828shallcomeוְיָבֹא֙ve.ya.Vo'H935, and castupוְיִשְׁפֹּךְ֙ve.yish.poKhH8210abankסֽוֹלֲלָ֔הso.la.LahH5550, andtakeוְלָכַ֖דve.la.KhadH3920the mostfortifiedמִבְצָר֑וֹתmiv.tza.RotH4013citiesעִ֣יר'irH5892: and thearmsוּזְרֹע֤וֹתu.ze.ro.'otH2220of thesouthהַנֶּ֙גֶב֙ha.Ne.gevH5045shall notwithstandיַעֲמֹ֔דוּya.'a.Mo.duH5975, neither hischosenמִבְחָרָ֔יוmiv.cha.RavH4005peopleוְעַם֙ve.'AmH5971, neither shall there be anystrengthכֹּ֖חַKo.achH3581towithstandלַעֲמֹֽד׃la.'a.ModH5975.
