16And theystoodוַיַּֽעַמְד֤וּvai.ya.'am.DuH5975in theirplaceעָמְדָם֙'a.me.DamH5977after theircustomכְּמִשְׁפָּטָ֔םke.mish.pa.TamH4941, according to thelawכְּתוֹרַ֖תke.to.RatH8451ofMosesמֹשֶׁ֣הmo.ShehH4872themanאִישׁ־'ish-H376ofGodהָאֱלֹהִ֑יםha.'E.lo.HimH430: thepriestsהַכֹּֽהֲנִים֙ha.ko.ha.NimH3548sprinkledזֹרְקִ֣יםzo.re.KimH2236thebloodהַדָּ֔םha.DamH1818, which they received from thehandמִיַּ֖דmi.YadH3027of theLevitesהַלְוִיִּֽם׃hal.vi.YimH3881.

17For there weremanyרַבַּ֥תra.BatH7227in thecongregationבַּקָּהָ֖לba.ka.HalH6951that were notsanctifiedהִתְקַדָּ֑שׁוּhit.ka.Da.shuH6942: therefore theLevitesוְהַלְוִיִּ֞םve.hal.vi.YimH3881had the charge of thekillingשְׁחִיטַ֣תshe.chi.TatH7821of thepassoversהַפְּסָחִ֗יםha.pe.sa.ChimH6453for every one that was notcleanטָה֔וֹרta.HorH2889, tosanctifyלְהַקְדִּ֖ישׁle.hak.DishH6942them to theLORDלַיהוָֽה׃la.Yah.wehH3068.

18For amultitudeמַרְבִּ֣יתmar.BitH4768of thepeopleהָעָ֡םha.'AmH5971, evenmanyרַ֠בַּתRa.batH7227ofEphraimמֵֽאֶפְרַ֨יִםme.'ef.Ra.yimH669, andManassehוּמְנַשֶּׁ֜הu.me.na.ShehH4519,Issacharיִשָּׂשכָ֤רyi.so.sh.KharH3485, andZebulunוּזְבֻלוּן֙u.ze.vu.LunH2074, hadnotH3808cleansedהִטֶּהָ֔רוּhi.te.Ha.ruH2891themselves, yet theyateאָכְל֥וּ'a.khe.LuH398thepassoverהַפֶּ֖סַחha.Pe.sachH6453otherwise than it waswrittenכַכָּת֑וּבkha.ka.TuvH3789.
