13And there assembledוַיֵּֽאָסְפ֤וּvai.ye.'a.se.FuH622at Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ye.ru.sha.LimH3389muchרָ֔בRavH7227peopleעַם־'am-H5971to keepלַעֲשׂ֛וֹתla.'a.SotH6213the feastחַ֥גchagH2282of unleavened breadהַמַּצּ֖וֹתha.ma.TzotH4682in the secondהַשֵּׁנִ֑יha.she.NiH8145monthבַּחֹ֣דֶשׁba.Cho.deshH2320,a veryמְאֹֽד׃me.'OdH3966greatלָרֹ֥בla.RoH7230congregationקָהָ֖לka.HalH6951.

14And they aroseוַיָּקֻ֕מוּvai.ya.Ku.muH6965and took awayוַיָּסִ֙ירוּ֙vai.ya.Si.ruH5493the altarsהַֽמִּזְבְּח֔וֹתha.miz.be.ChotH4196that werein Jerusalemבִּירוּשָׁלִָ֑םbi.ru.sha.LimH3389,and all the altars for incenseהַֽמְקַטְּרוֹת֙ham.ka.te.rOtH6999took they awayהֵסִ֔ירוּhe.Si.ruH5493,and castוַיַּשְׁלִ֖יכוּvai.yash.Li.khuH7993theminto the brookלְנַ֥חַלle.Na.chalH5158Kidronקִדְרֽוֹן׃kid.RonH6939.

15Then they killedוַיִּשְׁחֲט֣וּvai.yish.cha.TuH7819the passoverהַפֶּ֔סַחha.Pe.sachH6453on the fourteenthבְּאַרְבָּעָ֥ה עָשָׂ֖רbe.'ar.ba.'Ah 'a.SarH6240 H702dayof the secondהַשֵּׁנִ֑יha.she.NiH8145monthלַחֹ֣דֶשׁla.Cho.deshH2320:and the priestsוְהַכֹּהֲנִ֨יםve.ha.ko.ha.NimH3548and the Levitesוְהַלְוִיִּ֤םve.hal.vi.YimH3881were ashamedנִכְלְמוּ֙nikh.le.MuH3637,and sanctifiedוַיִּֽתְקַדְּשׁ֔וּvai.yit.ka.de.ShuH6942themselves, and brought inוַיָּבִ֥יאוּvai.ya.Vi.'uH935the burnt offeringsעֹל֖וֹתo.LotH5930into the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

16And they stoodוַיַּֽעַמְד֤וּvai.ya.'am.DuH5975in their placeעָמְדָם֙'a.me.DamH5977after their mannerכְּמִשְׁפָּטָ֔םke.mish.pa.TamH4941,according to the lawכְּתוֹרַ֖תke.to.RatH8451of Mosesמֹשֶׁ֣הmo.ShehH4872the manאִישׁ־'ish-H376of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֑יםha.'E.lo.HimH430:the priestsהַכֹּֽהֲנִים֙ha.ko.ha.NimH3548sprinkledזֹרְקִ֣יםzo.re.KimH2236the bloodהַדָּ֔םha.DamH1818, which they receivedof the handמִיַּ֖דmi.YadH3027of the Levitesהַלְוִיִּֽם׃hal.vi.YimH3881.

17For there weremanyרַבַּ֥תra.BatH7227in the congregationבַּקָּהָ֖לba.ka.HalH6951that were not sanctifiedהִתְקַדָּ֑שׁוּhit.ka.Da.shuH6942:therefore the Levitesוְהַלְוִיִּ֞םve.hal.vi.YimH3881had the charge of the killingשְׁחִיטַ֣תshe.chi.TatH7821of the passoversהַפְּסָחִ֗יםha.pe.sa.ChimH6453for every one that wasnot cleanטָה֔וֹרta.HorH2889,to sanctifyלְהַקְדִּ֖ישׁle.hak.DishH6942themunto the Lordלַיהוָֽה׃la.Yah.wehH3068.

18For a multitudeמַרְבִּ֣יתmar.BitH4768of the peopleהָעָ֡םha.'AmH5971, evenmanyרַ֠בַּתRa.batH7227of Ephraimמֵֽאֶפְרַ֨יִםme.'ef.Ra.yimH669,and Manassehוּמְנַשֶּׁ֜הu.me.na.ShehH4519,Issacharיִשָּׂשכָ֤רyi.so.sh.KharH3485,and Zebulunוּזְבֻלוּן֙u.ze.vu.LunH2074,had notH3808cleansedהִטֶּהָ֔רוּhi.te.Ha.ruH2891themselves, yet did they eatאָכְל֥וּ'a.khe.LuH398the passoverהַפֶּ֖סַחha.Pe.sachH6453otherwise than it was writtenכַכָּת֑וּבkha.ka.TuvH3789.But HezekiahH3169prayedהִתְפַּלֵּ֨לhit.pa.LelH6419for them, sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559,The goodהַטּ֖וֹבha.TovH2896Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068pardonיְכַפֵּ֥רye.kha.PerH3722every one

19Thatpreparethהֵכִ֔יןhe.KhinH3559his heartלְבָב֣וֹle.va.VoH3824to seekלִדְר֛וֹשׁlid.Ro.oshH1875Godהָאֱלֹהִ֥ים׀ha.'E.lo.HimH430,the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of his fathersאֲבוֹתָ֑יו'a.vo.TavH1, though he be not cleansedaccording to the purificationכְּטָהֳרַ֥תke.to.ho.RatH2893of the sanctuaryהַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃ סha.Ko.deshH6944.

20And the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068hearkenedוַיִּשְׁמַ֤עvai.yish.Ma'H8085to HezekiahH3169,and healedוַיִּרְפָּ֖אvai.yir.Pa'H7495the peopleהָעָֽם׃ סha.'AmH5971.

21And the childrenבְנֵֽי־ve.nei-H1121of Israelיִ֠שְׂרָאֵלYis.ra.'elH3478that were presentהַנִּמְצְאִ֨יםha.nim.tze.'ImH4672at Jerusalemבִּֽירוּשָׁלִַ֜םbi.ru.sha.LimH3389keptוַיַּעֲשׂ֣וּvai.ya.'a.SuH6213the feastחַ֧גchagH2282of unleavened breadהַמַּצּ֛וֹתha.ma.TzotH4682sevenשִׁבְעַ֥תshiv.'AtH7651daysיָמִ֖יםya.MimH3117with greatגְדוֹלָ֑הge.do.LahH1419gladnessבְּשִׂמְחָ֣הbe.sim.ChahH8057:and the Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֧םhal.vi.YimH3881and the priestsוְהַכֹּהֲנִ֛יםve.ha.ko.ha.NimH3548praisedוּֽמְהַלְלִ֣יםu.me.ha.LimH1984the Lordלַ֠יהוָהla.Yah.wehH3068dayי֣וֹם׀YomH3117by dayבְּי֞וֹםbe.YomH3117, singingwith loudעֹ֖ז'ozH5797instrumentsבִּכְלֵי־bikh.lei-H3627unto the Lordלַיהוָֽה׃ סla.Yah.wehH3068.

22And HezekiahH3169spakeוַיְדַבֵּ֣רvay.da.BerH1696comfortablyלֵב֙levH3820unto all the Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֔םhal.vi.YimH3881that taughtהַמַּשְׂכִּילִ֥יםha.mas.ki.LimH7919the goodט֖וֹבTovH2896knowledgeשֵֽׂכֶל־se.khel-H7922of the Lordלַיהוָ֑הla.Yah.wehH3068:and they did eatוַיֹּאכְל֤וּvai.yo.khe.LuH398throughout the feastהַמּוֹעֵד֙ha.mo.'EdH4150sevenשִׁבְעַ֣תshiv.'AtH7651daysהַיָּמִ֔יםhai.ya.MimH3117,offeringמְזַבְּחִים֙me.za.be.ChimH2076peaceשְׁלָמִ֔יםshe.la.MimH8002offeringsזִבְחֵ֣יziv.CheiH2077,and making confessionוּמִ֨תְוַדִּ֔יםu.Mit.va.DimH3034to the Lordלַיהוָ֖הla.Yah.wehH3068Godאֱלֹהֵ֥י'e.lo.HeiH430of their fathersאֲבוֹתֵיהֶֽם׃ ס'a.vo.tei.HemH1.

23And the whole assemblyהַקָּהָ֔לha.ka.HalH6951took counselוַיִּוָּֽעֲצוּ֙vai.yi.va.'a.TzuH3289to keepלַעֲשׂ֕וֹתla.'a.SotH6213otherאֲחֵרִ֑ים'a.che.RimH312sevenשִׁבְעַ֥תshiv.'AtH7651daysיָמִ֖יםya.MimH3117:and they keptוַיַּֽעֲשׂ֥וּvai.ya.'a.SuH6213othersevenשִׁבְעַת־shiv.'at-H7651daysיָמִ֖יםya.MimH3117with gladnessשִׂמְחָֽה׃sim.ChahH8057.

24For Hezekiahחִזְקִיָּ֣הוּchiz.ki.Ya.huH2396kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Judahיְ֠הוּדָהYe.hu.dahH3063did giveהֵרִ֨יםhe.RimH7311to the congregationלַקָּהָ֜לla.ka.HalH6951a thousandאֶ֣לֶף'E.lefH505bullocksפָּרִים֮pa.RimH6499and sevenוְשִׁבְעַ֣תve.shiv.'AtH7651thousandאֲלָפִ֣ים'a.la.FimH505sheepצֹאן֒ סtzoNH6629;and the princesוְהַשָּׂרִ֞יםve.ha.sa.RimH8269gaveהֵרִ֤ימוּhe.Ri.muH7311to the congregationלַקָּהָל֙la.ka.HalH6951a thousandאֶ֔לֶף'E.lefH505bullocksפָּרִ֣יםpa.RimH6499and tenעֲשֶׂ֣רֶת'a.Se.retH6235thousandאֲלָפִ֑ים'a.la.FimH505sheepוְצֹ֖אןve.TzonH6629:and a great numberלָרֹֽב׃la.RoH7230of priestsכֹהֲנִ֖יםkho.ha.NimH3548sanctifiedוַיִּֽתְקַדְּשׁ֥וּvai.yit.ka.de.ShuH6942themselves.

25And all the congregationקְהַ֣לke.HalH6951of Judahיְהוּדָ֗הye.hu.DahH3063,with the priestsוְהַכֹּהֲנִים֙ve.ha.ko.ha.NimH3548and the Levitesוְהַלְוִיִּ֔םve.hal.vi.YimH3881,and all the congregationהַקָּהָ֖לha.ka.HalH6951that came outהַבָּאִ֣יםha.ba.'ImH935of Israelמִיִּשְׂרָאֵ֑לmi.Yis.ra.'ElH3478,and the strangersוְהַגֵּרִ֗יםve.ha.ge.RimH1616that came outהַבָּאִים֙ha.ba.'ImH935of the landמֵאֶ֣רֶץme.'E.retzH776of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,and that dweltוְהַיּוֹשְׁבִ֖יםve.hai.yo.she.VimH3427in Judahבִּיהוּדָֽה׃bi.hu.DahH3063,rejoicedוַֽיִּשְׂמְח֣וּ׀vai.yis.me.ChuH8055.

26So there was greatגְדוֹלָ֖הge.do.LahH1419joyשִׂמְחָֽה־sim.chah-H8057in Jerusalemבִּֽירוּשָׁלִָ֑םbi.ru.sha.LimH3389:for since the timeמִימֵ֞יmi.MeiH3117of Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֤הshe.lo.MohH8010the sonבֶן־ven-H1121of Davidדָּוִיד֙da.VidH1732kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478there wasnot the like in Jerusalemבִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ סbi.ru.sha.LimH3389.

27Then the priestsהַכֹּהֲנִ֤יםha.ko.ha.NimH3548the Levitesהַלְוִיִּם֙hal.vi.YimH3881aroseוַיָּקֻ֜מוּvai.ya.Ku.muH6965and blessedוַיְבָרֲכ֣וּvay.va.ra.KhuH1288the peopleהָעָ֔םha.'AmH5971:and their voiceבְּקוֹלָ֑םbe.ko.LamH6963was heardוַיִּשָּׁמַ֖עvai.yi.sha.Ma'H8085,and their prayerתְפִלָּתָ֛םte.fi.la.TamH8605cameוַתָּב֧וֹאva.ta.Vo'H935upto his holyקָדְשׁ֖וֹka.de.ShoH6944dwelling placeלִמְע֥וֹןlim.'onH4583, evenunto heavenלַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃ פla.sha.Ma.yimH8064.
