20AndTilgathpilneserH8407kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428ofAssyriaאַשּׁ֑וּר'a.ShurH804cameוַיָּבֹ֣אvai.ya.Vo'H935to him, anddistressedH6696him, butstrengthenedחֲזָקֽוֹ׃cha.za.KoH2388him not.

21ForAhazאָחָז֙'a.ChazH271took away aportionחָלַ֤קcha.LakH2505from thehouseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of theLORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068, and from thehouseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of thekingהַמֶּ֖לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428, and of theprincesוְהַשָּׂרִ֑יםve.ha.sa.RimH8269, andgaveוַיִּתֵּן֙vai.yi.TenH5414it to thekingלְמֶ֣לֶךְle.Me.lekhH4428ofAssyriaאַשּׁ֔וּר'a.ShurH804: but hehelpedלְעֶזְרָ֖הle.'ez.RahH5833him not.

23For hesacrificedוַיִּזְבַּ֗חvai.yiz.BachH2076to thegodsלֵֽאלֹהֵ֣יle.lo.HeiH430ofDamascusדַרְמֶשֶׂק֮dar.me.SekH1834, whichsmoteהַמַּכִּ֣יםha.ma.KimH5221him: and hesaidוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, Because thegodsאֱלֹהֵ֤י'e.lo.HeiH430of thekingsמַלְכֵֽי־mal.khei-H4428ofSyriaאֲרָם֙'a.RamH758helpמַעְזְרִ֣יםma'.ze.RimH5826them, therefore will Isacrificeאֲזַבֵּ֖חַ'a.za.Be.achH2076to them, that they mayhelpוְיַעְזְר֑וּנִיve.ya'.ze.Ru.niH5826me.
