5Therefore have Ihewedחָצַ֙בְתִּי֙cha.Tzav.tiH2672them by theprophetsבַּנְּבִיאִ֔יםba.ne.vi.'ImH5030; I haveslainהֲרַגְתִּ֖יםha.rag.TimH2026them by thewordsבְּאִמְרֵי־be.'im.rei-H561of mymouthפִ֑יFiH6310: and thyjudgmentsוּמִשְׁפָּטֶ֖יךָu.mish.pa.Tei.khaH4941are as thelightא֥וֹר'orH216that goethforthיֵצֵֽא׃ye.Tze'H3318.

6For Idesireחָפַ֖צְתִּיcha.Fatz.tiH2654mercy, andnotH3808sacrificeזָ֑בַחZa.vachH2077; and theknowledgeוְדַ֥עַתve.Da.'atH1847ofGodאֱלֹהִ֖ים'E.lo.HimH430moreH3808thanH3808burntמֵעֹלֽוֹת׃me.'o.LotH5930offeringsH5930.

7But they likeAdamכְּאָדָ֖םke.'a.DamH121have transgressed thecovenantבְרִ֑יתve.RitH1285: there have theydealtH898treacherouslyבָּ֥גְדוּBa.ge.duH898against me.

9And astroopsגְּדוּדִ֗יםge.du.DimH1416of robberswaitוּכְחַכֵּ֨יu.khe.cha.KeiH2442for amanאִ֜ישׁ'ishH376,soH6213the company ofpriestsכֹּֽהֲנִ֔יםko.ha.NimH3548murderיְרַצְּחוּ־ye.ra.tze.chu-H7523in thewayדֶּ֖רֶךְDe.rekhH1870towardH1870Shechemשֶׁ֑כְמָהShekh.mahH7927;yeaכִּ֥יkiH3588, they havecommittedH6213lewdnessזִמָּ֖הzi.MahH2154.
