1“Comeלְכוּ֙le.KhuH1980,let us returnוְנָשׁ֣וּבָהve.na.Shu.vahH7725to the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068. ForHe has tornטָרָ֖ףta.RafH2963us, butHe will healוְיִרְפָּאֵ֑נוּve.yir.pa.'E.nuH7495us; He haswoundedיַ֖ךְyakhH5221us, but He willbandageוְיַחְבְּשֵֽׁנוּ׃ve.yach.be.She.nuH2280us.

2He willreviveיְחַיֵּ֖נוּye.chai.Ye.nuH2421us afterH4480two daysמִיֹּמָ֑יִםmi.yo.Ma.yimH3117; He willraiseיְקִמֵ֖נוּye.ki.Me.nuH6965us up on the thirdהַשְּׁלִישִׁ֔יha.she.li.ShiH7992dayבַּיּוֹם֙bai.yOmH3117,That we may liveוְנִחְיֶ֥הve.nich.YehH2421beforeלְפָנָֽיו׃le.fa.NavH6440Him.

3So let usknowוְנֵדְעָ֣הve.ne.de.'AhH3045,let us pressנִרְדְּפָ֗הnir.de.FahH7291on to knowלָדַ֙עַת֙la.Da.'atH3045the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068. HisgoingH4161forthמֽוֹצָא֑וֹmo.tza.'OH4161is as certainנָכ֣וֹןna.KhonH3559as the dawnכְּשַׁ֖חַרke.Sha.charH7837;And He will comeוְיָב֤וֹאve.ya.Vo'H935to us like therainכַגֶּ֙שֶׁם֙kha.Ge.shemH1653,Like the springכְּמַלְק֖וֹשׁke.mal.Ko.oshH4456rainH4456wateringי֥וֹרֶהYo.rehH3384the earthאָֽרֶץ׃'A.retzH776.”

4Whatמָ֤הmahH4100shall I doאֶֽעֱשֶׂה־'e.'e.seh-H6213with you, OEphraimאֶפְרַ֔יִם'ef.Ra.yimH669?Whatמָ֥הmahH4100shall I doאֶעֱשֶׂה־'e.'e.seh-H6213with you, O Judahיְהוּדָ֑הye.hu.DahH3063? For yourloyaltyוְחַסְדְּכֶם֙ve.chas.de.KhemH2617is like amorningבֹּ֔קֶרBo.kerH1242cloudכַּֽעֲנַן־ka.'a.nan-H6051And like the dewוְכַטַּ֖לve.kha.TalH2919which goesהֹלֵֽךְ׃ho.LekhH1980away earlyמַשְׁכִּ֥יםmash.KimH7925.

5Thereforeעַל־ כֵּ֗ן'al- KenH5921 H3651I havehewnH2672themin piecesH2672by the prophetsבַּנְּבִיאִ֔יםba.ne.vi.'ImH5030;I have slainהֲרַגְתִּ֖יםha.rag.TimH2026them by thewordsבְּאִמְרֵי־be.'im.rei-H561of My mouthפִ֑יFiH6310;And the judgmentsוּמִשְׁפָּטֶ֖יךָu.mish.pa.Tei.khaH4941on you are likethe lightא֥וֹר'orH216that goesH3318forthיֵצֵֽא׃ye.Tze'H3318.

6ForI delightחָפַ֖צְתִּיcha.Fatz.tiH2654in loyaltyחֶ֥סֶדChe.sedH2617ratherH3808thanH3808sacrificeזָ֑בַחZa.vachH2077,And in the knowledgeוְדַ֥עַתve.Da.'atH1847of Godאֱלֹהִ֖ים'E.lo.HimH430ratherH4480thanH4480burntמֵעֹלֽוֹת׃me.'o.LotH5930offeringsH5930.

7But likeAdamכְּאָדָ֖םke.'a.DamH121they havetransgressedעָבְר֣וּ'a.ve.RuH5674the covenantבְרִ֑יתve.RitH1285;Thereשָׁ֖םshamH8033they havedealtבָּ֥גְדוּBa.ge.duH898treacherouslyH898against Me.

8Gileadגִּלְעָ֕דgil.'AdH1568is a cityקִרְיַ֖תkir.YatH7151of wrongdoersאָ֑וֶן'A.venH205,Trackedעֲקֻבָּ֖ה'a.ku.BahH6121withbloodyמִדָּֽם׃mi.DamH1818footprints.

9And asraidersגְּדוּדִ֗יםge.du.DimH1416waitוּכְחַכֵּ֨יu.khe.cha.KeiH2442for a manאִ֜ישׁ'ishH376, Soa bandH2267of priestsכֹּֽהֲנִ֔יםko.ha.NimH3548murderיְרַצְּחוּ־ye.ra.tze.chu-H7523on the wayדֶּ֖רֶךְDe.rekhH1870to Shechemשֶׁ֑כְמָהShekh.mahH7927;Surelyכִּ֥יkiH3588they have committedעָשֽׂוּ׃'a.SuH6213crimeזִמָּ֖הzi.MahH2154.

10In the houseבְּבֵית֙be.VeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478I have seenרָאִ֖יתִיra.'I.tiH7200ahorribleשַׁעֲרֽוּרִיָּ֑הsha.'a.ri.ri.yahH8186thingH8186;Ephraim’sלְאֶפְרַ֔יִםle.'ef.Ra.yimH669harlotryזְנ֣וּתze.NutH2184is thereשָׁ֚םShamH8033,Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478has defiledנִטְמָ֖אnit.Ma'H2930itself.

11Alsoגַּם־gam-H1571,O Judahיְהוּדָ֕הye.hu.DahH3063, there is aharvestקָצִ֖ירka.TzirH7105appointed for you, When Irestoreבְּשׁוּבִ֖יbe.shu.ViH7725the fortunesשְׁב֥וּתshe.VutH7622of My peopleעַמִּֽי׃ פ'a.MiH5971.
