24Thensheכִּ֖יkiH3588saddledוַֽתַּחֲבֹשׁ֙va.ta.cha.VoshH2280an ass, andsaidH559toherH413servantנַעֲרָ֖הּna.'a.RahH5288, Drive, and go forward; slackenmeH413notאַל־'al-H408theridingלִרְכֹּ֔בlir.KoH7392,exceptאִם־'im-H518I bid thee.

25Soוַ֠יְהִיVay.hiH1961shewentH935, andcameH935unto themanאִ֥ישׁ'ishH376ofGodהָאֱלֹהִ֖יםha.'E.lo.HimH430tomountהַ֣רharH2022Carmelהַכַּרְמֶ֑לha.kar.MelH3760. And itcameH935topassH935, when themanאִישׁ־'ish-H376ofGodהָאֱלֹהִ֤יםha.'E.lo.HimH430sawכִּרְא֨וֹתkir.'otH7200herH413afaroffאֹתָהּ֙'o.TahH853, that hesaidוַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙vai.Yo.merH559toGehaziגֵּיחֲזִ֣יgei.cha.ZiH1522hisservantנַעֲר֔וֹna.'a.RoH5288,Beholdהִנֵּ֖הhi.NehH2009, yonder is theShunammiteהַשּׁוּנַמִּ֥יתha.shu.na.MitH7767:

AndGehaziגֵּֽיחֲזִ֜יgei.cha.ZiH1522cameH935nearוַיִּגַּ֨שׁvai.yi.GashH5066tothrustלְהָדְפָ֗הּle.ha.de.FahH1920herH413awayמִמֶּ֔נִּיmi.Me.niH4480; but themanאִ֨ישׁ'ishH376ofGodהָאֱלֹהִ֤יםha.'E.lo.HimH430saidוַיֹּאמֶר֩vai.yo.MerH559,LetH7503herH413aloneH7503: forherH413soulנַפְשָׁ֣הּnaf.ShahH5315is vexedwithinH935herH413; and theLORDוַֽיהוָה֙va.Yah.wehH3068hath hid it frommeH413, and hathnotוְלֹ֥אve.Lo'H3808toldהִגִּ֖ידhi.GidH5046meH413.

29Then hesaidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559toGehaziלְגֵיחֲזִ֜יle.gei.cha.ZiH1522,Girdחֲגֹ֣רcha.GorH2296upH5921thyloinsמָתְנֶ֗יךָma.te.Nei.khaH4975, andtakeוְקַ֨חve.KachH3947mystaffמִשְׁעַנְתִּ֣יmish.'an.TiH4938in thinehandבְיָדְךָ֮ve.ya.de.KhaH3027, and go thywayH6440:ifכִּֽי־ki-H3588thoumeetH6440anyH376manH376,saluteתְבָרְכֶ֔נּוּte.va.re.Khe.nuH1288himnotלֹ֣אlo'H3808; andifוְכִֽי־ve.khi-H3588anyH376saluteיְבָרֶכְךָ֥ye.va.rekh.KhaH1288thee,answerתַעֲנֶנּ֑וּta.'a.ne.NuH6030himnotלֹ֣אlo'H3808againH6440: andlayוְשַׂמְתָּ֥ve.sam.TaH7760mystaffמִשְׁעַנְתִּ֖יmish.'an.TiH4938uponH5921thefaceפְּנֵ֥יpe.NeiH6440of thechildהַנָּֽעַר׃ha.Na.'arH5288.

30And themotherאֵ֣ם'emH517of thechildהַנַּ֔עַרha.Na.'arH5288saidוַתֹּ֙אמֶר֙va.To.merH559, As theLORDיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068liveth, and as thysoulנַפְשְׁךָ֖naf.she.KhaH5315liveth, I willnotH518leaveאֶעֶזְבֶ֑ךָּ'e.'ez.Ve.kaH5800thee. And hearoseוַיָּ֖קָםvai.Ya.komH6965, andfollowedאַחֲרֶֽיהָ׃'a.cha.Rei.haH310herH518.

31AndGehaziוְגֵחֲזִ֞יve.ge.cha.ZiH1522passedעָבַ֣ר'a.VarH5674onbeforeH6440them, andlaidוַיָּ֤שֶׂםvai.Ya.semH7760thestaffהַמִּשְׁעֶ֙נֶת֙ha.mish.'E.netH4938uponעַל־'al-H5921thefaceH6440of thechildהַנַּ֔עַרha.Na.'arH5288; but there wasneitherH3808voiceק֖וֹלKolH6963,norH3808hearing. Wherefore hereturnedוַיָּ֤שָׁבvai.Ya.shovH7725tomeetH6440him, andtoldוַיַּגֶּד־vai.ya.ged-H5046him,sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559, Thechildהַנָּֽעַר׃ha.Na.'arH5288isnotH3808awaked.

32And whenElishaאֱלִישָׁ֖ע'e.li.Sha'H477wascomeH935intoH935thehouseהַבָּ֑יְתָהha.Ba.ye.tahH1004,beholdוְהִנֵּ֤הve.hi.NehH2009, thechildהַנַּ֙עַר֙ha.Na.'arH5288wasdeadמֵ֔תMetH4191, andlaidמֻשְׁכָּ֖בmush.KavH7901uponעַל־'al-H5921hisbedמִטָּתֽוֹ׃mi.ta.ToH4296.

33HewentH935in therefore, andshutוַיִּסְגֹּ֥רvai.yis.GorH5462thedoorהַדֶּ֖לֶתha.De.letH1817uponH935them twain, andprayedוַיִּתְפַּלֵּ֖לvai.yit.pa.LelH6419unto theLORDיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

34And hewentH5927upH5927, andlayוַיִּשְׁכַּ֣בvai.yish.KavH7901uponעַל־'al-H5921thechildהַיֶּ֗לֶדhai.Ye.ledH3206, andputוַיָּשֶׂם֩vai.ya.SemH7760hismouthפִּ֨יוpivH6310uponעַל־'al-H5921hismouthפִּ֜יוpivH6310, and hiseyesוְעֵינָ֤יוve.'ei.NavH5869uponעַל־'al-H5921hiseyesעֵינָיו֙'ei.NavH5869, and hishandsוְכַפָּ֣יוve.kha.PavH3709uponעַל־'al-H5921hishandsכַּפָּ֔יוka.povH3709: and hestretchedוַיִּגְהַ֖רvai.yig.HarH1457himselfuponעָלָ֑יו'a.LavH5921him; and thefleshבְּשַׂ֥רbe.SarH1320of thechildהַיָּֽלֶד׃hai.Ya.ledH3206waxedwarmוַיָּ֖חָםvai.Ya.chomH2552.

35Then hereturnedH7725, and walked in thehouseבַּבַּ֗יִתba.Ba.yitH1004onceH259to andfroH7725; andwentH5927upH5927, andstretchedוַיִּגְהַ֣רvai.yig.HarH1457himselfuponעָלָ֑יו'a.LavH5921him: and thechildהַנַּ֙עַר֙ha.Na.'arH5288sneezedוַיְזוֹרֵ֤רvay.zo.RerH2237sevenשֶׁ֣בַעShe.va'H7651timesפְּעָמִ֔יםpe.'a.MimH6471, and thechildהַנַּ֖עַרha.Na.'arH5288openedוַיִּפְקַ֥חvai.yif.KachH6491hiseyesעֵינָֽיו׃'ei.NavH5869.

36And hecalledH7121Gehaziגֵּיחֲזִ֗יgei.cha.ZiH1522, andsaidוַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙vai.Yo.merH559,CallH7121thisShunammiteהַשֻּׁנַמִּ֣יתha.shu.na.MitH7767.SoH7121hecalledH7121herH413. And whensheH7121wascomeוַתָּב֣וֹאva.ta.Vo'H935inontoH413him, hesaidוַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,Takeשְׂאִ֥יse.'IH5375upH5375thysonבְנֵֽךְ׃ve.NekhH1121.

37Then shewentH3318in, andfellוַתִּפֹּ֣לva.ti.PolH5307at hisfeetרַגְלָ֔יוrag.LavH7272, andbowedוַתִּשְׁתַּ֖חוּva.tish.Ta.chuH7812herselfH7812to thegroundאָ֑רְצָה'A.re.tzahH776; and shetookH5375upH5375herעַל־'al-H5921sonבְּנָ֖הּbe.NahH1121, andwentH3318outH3318.

38AndElishaוֶאֱלִישָׁ֞עve.'e.li.Sha'H477cameH7725againH7725toGilgalהַגִּלְגָּ֙לָה֙ha.gil.Ga.lahH1537: and there was a dearth in thelandבָּאָ֔רֶץba.'A.retzH776; and thesonsוּבְנֵי֙u.ve.NeiH1121of theprophetsהַנְּבִיאִ֔יםha.ne.vi.'ImH5030weresittingH3427beforeלְפָנָ֑יוle.fa.NavH6440him: and hesaidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto hisservantלְנַעֲר֗וֹle.na.'a.RoH5288,SetH3427on thegreatהַגְּדוֹלָ֔הha.ge.do.LahH1419potהַסִּ֣ירha.SirH5518, andseetheוּבַשֵּׁ֥לu.va.ShelH1310pottage for thesonsלִבְנֵ֥יliv.NeiH1121of theprophetsהַנְּבִיאִֽים׃ha.ne.vi.'ImH5030.

39And onewentH3318outH3318intoאֶל־'el-H413thefieldהַשָּׂדֶה֮ha.sa.DehH7704togatherלְלַקֵּ֣טle.la.KetH3950herbs, andfoundוַיִּמְצָא֙vai.yim.Tza'H4672awildשָׂדֶ֔הsa.DehH7704vineגֶּ֣פֶןGe.fenH1612, andgatheredוַיְלַקֵּ֥טvay.la.KetH3950thereofwildשָׂדֶ֖הsa.DehH7704gourdsפַּקֻּעֹ֥תpa.ku.'OtH6498his lapfullמְלֹ֣אme.Lo'H4393, andcameוַיָּבֹ֗אvai.ya.Vo'H935and shred themintoאֶל־'el-H413thepotסִ֥ירsirH5518of pottage: for theyknewיָדָֽעוּ׃ya.Da.'uH3045themnotלֹ֥אlo'H3808.

40SoH1961theypouredוַיִּֽצְק֥וּvai.yitz.KuH3332outH3332for themenאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376toeatלֶאֱכ֑וֹלle.'e.KholH398. And itcameH1961topassH1961, as they wereeatingכְּאָכְלָ֨םke.'a.khe.LamH398of the pottage, that theycriedצָעָ֗קוּtza.'A.kuH6817outH3332, andsaidוַיֹּֽאמְרוּ֙vai.yo.me.RuH559, OmanH376ofGodהָאֱלֹהִ֔יםha.'E.lo.HimH430, there isdeathמָ֤וֶתMa.vetH4194in thepotבַּסִּיר֙ba.SirH5518. And theycouldיָכְל֖וּya.khe.LuH3201notוְלֹ֥אve.Lo'H3808eatלֶאֱכֹֽל׃le.'e.KholH398thereof.

41But hesaidוַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙vai.Yo.merH559, Thenbringוּקְחוּ־u.ke.chu-H3947mealקֶ֔מַחKe.machH7058.
