19Nowוְעַתָּ֣הve.'a.TahH6258thereforecallקִרְא֨וּkir.'UH7121untomeאֵלַ֜י'e.LaiH413allH3605theprophetsנְבִיאֵ֣יne.vi.'EiH5030ofBaalהַבַּ֡עַלha.Ba.'alH1168,allH3605his worshippers, andallH3605hispriestsכֹּהֲנָיו֩ko.ha.NavH3548;letאַל־'al-H408noneH3808be wanting: for I have agreatגָּד֥וֹלga.DolH1419sacrificeזֶ֨בַחZe.vachH2077todoH6213toBaalלַבַּ֔עַלla.Ba.'alH1168; whosoever shall be wanting, he shallnotH3808liveיִֽחְיֶ֑הyich.YehH2421. ButJehuוְיֵהוּא֙ve.ye.Hu'H3058didH6213it in subtilty, to the intent that he mightdestroyהַאֲבִ֖ידha.'a.VidH6the worshippers ofBaalהַבָּֽעַל׃ha.Ba.'alH1168.

20AndJehuיֵה֗וּאye.Hu'H3058saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,Sanctifyקַדְּשׁ֧וּka.de.ShuH6942asolemnH6116assemblyעֲצָרָ֛ה'a.tza.RahH6116forBaalלַבַּ֖עַלla.Ba.'alH1168. And theyproclaimedוַיִּקְרָֽאוּ׃vai.yik.Ra.'uH7121it.

21AndJehuיֵהוּא֙ye.Hu'H3058sentH7971throughH935allבְּכָל־be.kholH3605Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478: andallכָּל־kol-H3605the worshippers ofBaalהַבַּ֔עַלha.Ba.'alH1168cameH935,soH7971that there wasnotוְלֹֽא־ve.lo'-H3808amanH376leftנִשְׁאַ֥רnish.'ArH7604thatcameH935notלֹֽא־lo'-H3808. And theycameH935intoH935thehouseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004ofBaalהַבַּ֔עַלha.Ba.'alH1168; and thehouseבֵית־veit-H1004ofBaalהַבַּ֖עַלha.Ba.'alH1168wasfilledוַיִּמָּלֵ֥אvai.yi.ma.Le'H4390from oneendH6310toanotherH376.

22And hesaidוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto him that was over the vestry,BringH3318forthH3318vestments forallלְכֹ֖לle.KholH3605the worshippers ofBaalהַבָּ֑עַלha.Ba.'alH1168. And hebroughtH3318themforthH3318vestments.

23AndJehuיֵה֛וּאye.Hu'H3058wentH935, andJehonadabוִיהוֹנָדָ֥בvi.ho.na.DavH3082thesonבֶּן־ben-H1121ofRechabרֵכָ֖בre.KhavH7394,intoH935thehouseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004ofBaalהַבָּ֑עַלha.Ba.'alH1168; and hesaidוַיֹּ֜אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto the worshippers ofBaalהַבַּ֗עַלha.Ba.'alH1168,Searchחַפְּשׂ֤וּcha.pe.SuH2664, andlookוּרְאוּ֙u.re.'UH7200that there behereפֹּ֤הpohH6311withyouכִּ֛יkiH3588noneפֶּן־pen-H6435of theservantsמֵעַבְדֵ֣יme.'av.DeiH5650of theLORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068, but the worshippers ofBaalהַבַּ֖עַלha.Ba.'alH1168onlyלְבַדָּֽם׃le.va.DamH905.

24And theywentH935in toofferH2077sacrificesH2077andburntוְעֹל֑וֹתve.'o.LotH5930offeringsH4480.NowH935Jehuוְיֵה֞וּאve.ye.Hu'H3058hadappointedשָׂם־som-H7760him fourscoremenאִ֔ישׁ'IshH376withoutH4480, andsaidוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,Ifאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834anyH4480of themenהָאִ֤ישׁha.'IshH376whomאֲשֶׁ֤ר'a.SherH834IbringH935intoH935yourhandsיְדֵיכֶ֔םye.dei.KhemH3027escapeיִמָּלֵט֙yi.ma.LetH4422, he that letteth himgoH935, hislifeנַפְשׁ֖וֹnaf.ShoH5315shall be for thelifeנַפְשֽׁוֹ׃naf.ShoH5315of him.

25And itcameH935topassH935, as soon as he hadmadeלַעֲשׂ֣וֹתla.'a.SotH6213asendכְּכַלֹּת֣וֹ׀ke.kha.lo.ToH3615of offering theburntהָעֹלָ֗הha.'o.LahH5930offering, thatJehuיֵ֠הוּאYe.hu'H3058saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to theguardלָרָצִ֨יםla.ra.TzimH7323and to the captains,GoH3318in, andslayהַכּוּם֙ha.KumH5221them;letH408noneH408comeH935forthH3318. And theysmoteוַיַּכּ֖וּםvai.ya.KumH5221them with theedgeלְפִי־le.fi-H6310of theswordחָ֑רֶבCha.revH2719; and theguardהָֽרָצִים֙ha.ra.TzimH7323and the captainscastוַיַּשְׁלִ֗כוּvai.yash.Li.khuH7993themoutH3318, andwentH3318to thecityעִ֥יר'irH5892of thehouseבֵּית־beit-H1004ofBaalהַבָּֽעַל׃ha.Ba.'alH1168.

26And theybroughtH3318forthH3318thepillarsמַצְּב֥וֹתma.tze.VotH4676that were in thehouseבֵּית־beit-H1004ofBaalהַבַּ֖עַלha.Ba.'alH1168, andburnedוַֽיִּשְׂרְפֽוּהָ׃Vai.yis.re.Fu.haH8313them.

27And they brakedownוַֽיִּתְּצ֔וּvai.yi.te.TzuH5422thepillarמַצְּבַ֣תma.tze.VatH4676ofBaalהַבָּ֑עַלha.Ba.'alH1168, and brakedownוַֽיִּתְּצוּ֙vai.yi.te.TzuH5422thehouseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004ofBaalהַבַּ֔עַלha.Ba.'alH1168, andmadeוַיְשִׂמֻ֥הוּvay.si.Mu.huH7760it a draughthouseH1004, unto thisdayהַיּֽוֹם׃hai.YomH3117.

28ThusJehuיֵה֛וּאye.Hu'H3058destroyedוַיַּשְׁמֵ֥דvai.yash.MedH8045Baalהַבַּ֖עַלha.Ba.'alH1168outאֶת־'et-H853ofIsraelמִיִּשְׂרָאֵֽל׃mi.Yis.ra.'ElH3478.
