13Yet it came to pass, when the childrenבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478were waxen strongחָֽזְקוּ֙cha.ze.KuH2388,that they putוַיִּתְּנ֥וּvai.yi.te.NuH5414the Canaanitesהַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֖יha.ke.na.'a.NiH3669to tributeלָמַ֑סla.MasH4522;but did not utterlyוְהוֹרֵ֖שׁve.ho.ReshH3423drive them outהוֹרִישֽׁוֹ׃ סho.ri.ShoH3423.
