7So Joshuaיְהוֹשֻׁ֡עַye.ho.Shu.a'H3091cameוַיָּבֹ֣אvai.ya.Vo'H935,and all the peopleעַם֩'amH5971of warהַמִּלְחָמָ֨הha.mil.cha.MahH4421with him, against them by the watersמֵ֥יmeiH4325of Meromמֵר֖וֹםme.RomH4792suddenlyפִּתְאֹ֑םpit.'OmH6597;and they fell uponוַֽיִּפְּל֖וּvai.yi.pe.LuH5307them.

8And Yhwhיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068deliveredוַיִּתְּנֵ֨םvai.yi.te.NemH5414them into the handבְּיַֽד־be.yad-H3027of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֮Yis.ra.'ElH3478,who smoteוַיַּכּוּם֒vai.ya.KumH5221them, and chasedוַֽיִּרְדְּפ֞וּםvai.yir.de.FumH7291them unto greatרַבָּ֗הra.BahH7227Sidonצִיד֣וֹןtzi.DonH6721,and unto Misrephoth–maimH4956,and unto the valleyבִּקְעַ֥תbik.'AtH1237of Mizpehמִצְפֶּ֖הmitz.PehH4708eastwardמִזְרָ֑חָהmiz.Ra.chahH4217;and they smoteוַיַּכֻּ֕םvai.ya.KumH5221them, until they leftהִשְׁאִֽיר־hish.'ir-H7604them none remainingשָׂרִֽיד׃sa.RidH8300.
