41Behold, a peopleעַ֥ם'amH5971shall comeבָּ֖אba'H935from the northמִצָּפ֑וֹןmi.tza.FonH6828,and a greatגָּדוֹל֙ga.dOlH1419nationוְג֤וֹיve.GoyH1471,and manyרַבִּ֔יםra.BimH7227kingsוּמְלָכִ֣יםu.me.la.KhimH4428shall be raised upיֵעֹ֖רוּye.'O.ruH5782from the coastsמִיַּרְכְּתֵי־mi.yar.ke.tei-H3411of the earthאָֽרֶץ׃'A.retzH776.

42They shall holdיַחֲזִ֗יקוּya.cha.Zi.kuH2388the bowקֶ֣שֶׁתKe.shetH7198and the lanceוְכִידֹ֞ןve.khi.DonH3591: they arecruelאַכְזָרִ֥י'akh.za.RiH394,and will not shew mercyיְרַחֵ֔מוּye.ra.Che.muH7355:their voiceקוֹלָם֙ko.LamH6963shall roarיֶהֱמֶ֔הye.he.MehH1993like the seaכַּיָּ֣םkai.YamH3220,and they shall rideיִרְכָּ֑בוּyir.Ka.vuH7392upon horsesסוּסִ֖יםsu.SimH5483, every oneput in arrayעָר֗וּךְ'a.RukhH6186,like a manכְּאִישׁ֙ke.'IshH376to the battleלַמִּלְחָמָ֔הla.mil.cha.MahH4421,against thee, O daughterבַּת־bat-H1323of Babylonבָּבֶֽל׃ba.VelH894.
