2There shall beno more praiseתְּהִלַּ֣תte.hi.LatH8416of Moabמוֹאָב֒mo.'AvH4124:in Heshbonבְּחֶשְׁבּ֗וֹןbe.chesh.BonH2809they have devisedחָשְׁב֤וּcha.she.VuH2803evilרָעָ֔הra.'AhH7451against it; comeH3212,and let us cut it offוְנַכְרִיתֶ֣נָּהve.nakh.ri.Te.nahH3772from beinga nationמִגּ֑וֹיmi.GoyH1471.Also thou shalt be cut downתִּדֹּ֔מִּיti.Do.miH1826,O Madmenמַדְמֵ֣ןmad.MenH4086;the swordחָֽרֶב׃Cha.revH2719shall pursueH3212theeאַחֲרַ֖יִךְ'a.cha.Ra.yikhH310.

3A voiceק֥וֹלKolH6963of cryingצְעָקָ֖הtze.'a.KahH6818shall befrom Horonaimמֵחֹֽרוֹנָ֑יִםme.cho.ro.Na.yimH2773,spoilingשֹׁ֖דshodH7701and greatגָּדֽוֹל׃ga.DolH1419destructionוָשֶׁ֥בֶרva.She.verH7667.

4Moabמוֹאָ֑בmo.'AvH4124is destroyedנִשְׁבְּרָ֖הnish.be.RahH7665;her little onesצְעִירֶֽיהָ׃tze.'o.rei.haH6810have caused a cryזְּעָקָ֖הze.'a.KahH2201to be heardהִשְׁמִ֥יעוּhish.Mi.'uH8085.

5For in the going upמַעֲלֵ֣הma.'a.LehH4608of Luhithהַלּוּחִ֔יתha.lu.chotH3872continualבִּבְכִ֖יbiv.KhiH1065weepingבֶּ֑כִיBe.khiH1065shall go upיַֽעֲלֶה־ya.'a.leh-H5927;for in the going downבְּמוֹרַ֣דbe.mo.RadH4174of Horonaimחוֹרֹנַ֔יִםcho.ro.Na.yimH2773the enemiesצָרֵ֥יtza.ReiH6862have heardשָׁמֵֽעוּ׃sha.Me.'uH8085a cryצַֽעֲקַת־tza.'a.kat-H6818of destructionשֶׁ֖בֶרShe.verH7667.

6Fleeנֻ֖סוּNu.suH5127,saveמַלְּט֣וּma.le.TuH4422your livesנַפְשְׁכֶ֑םnaf.she.KhemH5315,and beוְתִֽהְיֶ֕ינָהve.tih.Yei.nahH1961like the heathכַּעֲרוֹעֵ֖רka.'a.ro.'ErH6176in the wildernessבַּמִּדְבָּֽר׃ba.mid.BarH4057.

7For because thou hast trustedבִּטְחֵ֤ךְbit.ChekhH982in thy worksבְּמַעֲשַׂ֙יִךְ֙be.ma.'a.Sa.yikhH4639and in thy treasuresוּבְא֣וֹצְרוֹתַ֔יִךְu.ve.'otz.ro.Ta.yikhH214,thou shalt also be takenתִּלָּכֵ֑דִיti.la.Khe.diH3920:and Chemoshכְמוֹשׁ֙khe.mishH3645shall go forthוְיָצָ֤אve.ya.Tza'H3318into captivityבַּגּוֹלָ֔הba.go.LahH1473withhis priestsכֹּהֲנָ֥יוko.ha.NavH3548and his princesוְשָׂרָ֖יוve.sa.RavH8269togetherיַחְדָּֽיו׃ya.chadH3162.

8And the spoilerשֹׁדֵ֜דsho.DedH7703shall comeוְיָבֹ֨אve.ya.Vo'H935upon every cityעִ֗יר'IrH5892,and no cityוְעִיר֙ve.'IrH5892shall escapeתִמָּלֵ֔טti.ma.LetH4422:the valleyהָעֵ֖מֶקha.'E.mekH6010also shall perishוְאָבַ֥דve.'a.VadH6,and the plainהַמִּישֹׁ֑רha.mi.ShorH4334shall be destroyedוְנִשְׁמַ֣דve.nish.MadH8045,as Yhwhיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068hath spokenאָמַ֥ר'a.MarH559.

9Giveתְּנוּ־te.nu-H5414wingsצִ֣יץtzitzH6731unto Moabלְמוֹאָ֔בle.mo.'AvH4124,that it may fleeנָצֹ֖אna.Tzo'H5323and get awayתֵּצֵ֑אte.Tze'H3318:for the citiesוְעָרֶ֙יהָ֙ve.'a.Rei.haH5892thereof shall be desolateלְשַׁמָּ֣הle.sha.MahH8047,without any to dwellיוֹשֵׁ֖בyo.ShevH3427thereinH2004.

10Cursedאָר֗וּר'a.RurH779behe that doethעֹשֶׂ֛ה'o.SehH6213the workמְלֶ֥אכֶתme.Le.khetH4399of Yhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068deceitfullyרְמִיָּ֑הre.mi.YahH7423,and cursedוְאָר֕וּרve.'a.RurH779behe that keepeth backמֹנֵ֥עַmo.Ne.a'H4513his swordחַרְבּ֖וֹchar.BoH2719from bloodמִדָּֽם׃mi.DamH1818.

11Moabמוֹאָ֜בmo.'AvH4124hath been at easeשַׁאֲנַ֨ןsha.'a.NanH7599from his youthמִנְּעוּרָ֗יוmi.ne.'u.RavH5271,and he hath settledוְשֹׁקֵ֥טve.sho.KetH8252on his leesשְׁמָרָ֔יוshe.ma.RavH8105,and hath not been emptiedהוּרַ֤קhu.RakH7324from vesselמִכְּלִי֙mi.ke.LiH3627to vesselכֶּ֔לִיKe.liH3627,neither hath he goneהָלָ֑ךְha.LakhH1980into captivityוּבַגּוֹלָ֖הu.va.go.LahH1473:therefore his tasteטַעְמוֹ֙ta'.MoH2940remainedעָמַ֤ד'a.MadH5975in him, and his scentוְרֵיח֖וֹve.rei.ChoH7381is not changedנָמָֽר׃ סna.MarH4171.

12Therefore, behold, the daysיָמִ֤יםya.MimH3117comeבָּאִים֙ba.'ImH935,saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002Yhwhיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,that I will sendוְשִׁלַּחְתִּי־ve.shi.lach.ti-H7971unto him wanderersצֹעִ֖יםtzo.'ImH6808,that shall cause him to wanderוְצֵעֻ֑הוּve.tze.'U.huH6808,and shall emptyיָרִ֔יקוּya.Ri.kuH7324his vesselsוְכֵלָ֣יוve.khe.LavH3627,and breakיְנַפֵּֽצוּ׃ye.na.Pe.tzuH5310their bottlesוְנִבְלֵיהֶ֖םve.niv.lei.HemH5035.

13And Moabמוֹאָ֖בmo.'AvH4124shall be ashamedוּבֹ֥שׁu.VoshH954of Chemoshמִכְּמ֑וֹשׁmi.ke.Mo.oshH3645,as the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478was ashamedבֹּ֙שׁוּ֙bo.shuH954of Beth–elH1008their confidenceמִבְטֶחָֽם׃miv.te.ChamH4009.
