Numbers 15:18-41
18“SpeakH1696 to the sonsH1121 of IsraelH3478 and sayH559 to them, ‘When you enterH935 the landH776 whereH834H8033 I am bringingH935 you, 19then it shall be, that when you eatH398 from the 12foodH3899 of the landH776, you shall liftH7311 upH7311 an 3offeringH8641 to the LordH3068. 204Of the firstH7225 of your 5doughH6182 you shall liftH7311 upH7311 a loafH2471 as an 6offeringH8641; as 7an 8offeringH8641 of the threshingH1637 floorH1637, soH3651 you shall liftH7311 it upH7311. 21From the firstH7225 of your 9doughH6182 you shall giveH5414 to the LordH3068 an 10offeringH8641 throughout your generationsH1755.
22‘But whenH3588 you 11unintentionallyH7686 doH7686 wrongH7686 and failH3808 to 12complyH6213 withH6213 allH3605 theseH428 commandmentsH4687 whichH834 the LordH3068 has spokenH1696 to MosesH4872, 23that is, allH3605 that the LordH3068 has commandedH6680 you 13throughH3027 MosesH4872 from the dayH3117 that the LordH3068 gaveH6680 commandmentsH6680 and onwardH1973, throughout your generationsH1755, 24then it shall be, ifH518 it is doneH6213 14unintentionallyH7684, 15withoutH4480 the knowledgeH5869 of the congregationH5712, that allH3605 the congregationH5712 shall offerH6213 oneH259 bullH6499H1121H1241 as a burntH5930 offeringH5930, as a soothingH5207 aromaH7381 to the LordH3068, 16with its grain offeringH4503 and its drinkH5262 offeringH5262, according to the ordinanceH4941, and oneH259 maleH8163 goatH5795 as a sinH2403 offeringH2403. 25Then 17the priestH3548 shall makeH3722 atonementH3722 for allH3605 the congregationH5712 of the sonsH1121 of IsraelH3478, and they will be forgivenH5545; for it was an unintentionalH7684 wrongH7684, and they have broughtH935 their offeringH7133, an offeringH801 byH801 fireH801 to the LordH3068, and their sinH2403 offeringH2403 beforeH6440 the LordH3068, for their unintentionalH7684 wrongH7684. 26So allH3605 the congregationH5712 of the sonsH1121 of IsraelH3478 will be forgivenH5545, as well as the strangerH1616 who residesH1481 amongH8432 them, for guilt was attributed to allH3605 the peopleH5971 through an 18unintentionalH7684 wrongH7684.
27‘Also, ifH518 oneH259 personH5315 sinsH2398 19unintentionallyH7684, then he shall offerH7126 a one-year-oldH8141H1323 femaleH5795 goatH5795 as a sinH2403 offeringH2403. 28And 20the priestH3548 shall makeH3722 atonementH3722 beforeH6440 the LordH3068 for the personH5315 who goesH7683 astrayH7683 by an unintentionalH7684 sinH2399, makingH3722 atonementH3722 for him 21so that he may be forgivenH5545. 29You shall haveH1961 oneH259 lawH8451 for the nativeH249 among the sonsH1121 of IsraelH3478 and for the strangerH1616 who residesH1481 amongH8432 them, for one who doesH6213 anything wrong unintentionallyH7684. 30But the personH5315 whoH834 doesH6213 wrong 2223defiantlyH7311H3027, whetherH4480 he is a nativeH249 or a strangerH1616, that oneH1931 is blasphemingH1442 the LordH3068; and that personH5315 shall be cutH3772 offH3772 from amongH7130 his peopleH5971. 31SinceH3588 he has 24despisedH959 the wordH1697 of the LordH3068 and has brokenH6565 His commandmentH4687, that personH5315 shall be completelyH3772 cutH3772 offH3772; 25his 26guiltH5771 will be on him.’”
32Now while the sonsH1121 of IsraelH3478 were in the wildernessH4057, they foundH4672 a manH376 27gatheringH7197 woodH6086 on the SabbathH7676 dayH3117. 33And those who foundH4672 him gatheringH7197 woodH6086 broughtH7126 him to MosesH4872 and AaronH175, and to allH3605 the congregationH5712; 34and they placedH5117 him in custodyH4929, 28becauseH3588 it had not been decidedH6567 whatH4100 should be doneH6213 to him. 35Then the LordH3068 saidH559 to MosesH4872, “The manH376 mustH4191 be putH4191 toH4191 deathH4191; 29allH3605 the congregationH5712 shall stoneH7275 him with stonesH68 outsideH4480H2351 the campH4264.” 36So allH3605 the congregationH5712 broughtH3318 him outsideH413H4480H2351 the campH4264 and stonedH7275 him 30to deathH4191 with stonesH68, justH3512 asH3512 the LordH3068 had commandedH6680 MosesH4872.
37The LordH3068 also spokeH559 to MosesH4872, sayingH559, 38“SpeakH1696 to the sonsH1121 of IsraelH3478 and tellH559 them that they shall makeH6213 for themselves 31tasselsH6734 on the cornersH3671 of their garmentsH899 throughout their generationsH1755, and that they shall putH5414 on the tasselH6734 of each cornerH3671 a 32violetH8504 threadH6616. 39It shall be a tasselH6734 for you 33to lookH7200 at and 34rememberH2142 allH3605 the commandmentsH4687 of the LordH3068, so that you will doH6213 them and not 35followH8446H310 your own heartH3824 and your own eyesH5869, 36whichH834 led you to prostituteH2181 yourselves, 40soH4616 thatH4616 you will rememberH2142 and doH6213 allH3605 My commandmentsH4687 and 37be holyH6918 to your GodH430. 41I am the LordH3068 your GodH430 whoH834 broughtH3318 you outH3318 from the landH776 of EgyptH4714 to be your GodH430; I am the LordH3068 your GodH430.”
