Leviticus 27:14-34
14‘Now ifH3588 someoneH376 consecratesH6942 his houseH1004 as holyH6944 to the LordH3068, then the priestH3548 shall assessH6186 it 1as eitherH996 goodH2896 orH996 badH7451; as the priestH3548 assessesH6186 it, soH3651 shall it standH6965. 15Yet ifH518 the one who consecratesH6942 it should want to redeemH1350 his houseH1004, then he shall addH3254 a fifthH2549 of your assessmentH6187 priceH3701 to it, so that it may be his.
16‘Again, ifH518 someoneH376 consecratesH6942 to the LordH3068 part of the fieldH7704 of his own propertyH272, then your assessmentH6187 shall be 2proportionateH6310 to the seedH2233 needed for it: a 3homerH2563 of barleyH8184 seedH2233 at fiftyH2572 shekelsH8255 of silverH3701. 17IfH518 he consecratesH6942 his fieldH7704 as of the yearH8141 of jubileeH3104, according to your assessmentH6187 it shall standH6965. 18IfH518 he consecratesH6942 his fieldH7704 afterH310 the jubileeH3104, however, then the priestH3548 shall calculateH2803 the priceH3701 for 4him 5proportionateH6310 to the yearsH8141 that are leftH3498 untilH5704 the yearH8141 of jubileeH3104; and it shall be deductedH1639 from your assessmentH6187. 19IfH518 the one who consecratesH6942 it should everH1350 want to redeemH1350 the fieldH7704, then he shall addH3254 a fifthH2549 of your assessmentH6187 priceH3701 to it, so that it may belongH6965 to him. 20Yet ifH518 he does not redeemH1350 the fieldH7704, 6but has soldH4376 the fieldH7704 to anotherH312 personH376, it may noH3808 longerH5750 be redeemedH1350; 21and when it 7revertsH3318 in the jubileeH3104, the fieldH7704 shall be holyH6944 to the LordH3068, like a fieldH7704 bannedH2764 fromH2764 secularH2764 useH2764; 8it shall be for the priestH3548 as his propertyH272. 22Or ifH518 he consecratesH6942 to the LordH3068 a fieldH7704 which he has boughtH4736, whichH834 is not a part of the fieldH7704 of his own propertyH272, 23then the priestH3548 shall calculateH2803 for 9him the amountH4373 of your assessmentH6187 up to the yearH8141 of jubileeH3104; and he shall on that dayH3117 giveH5414 your assessmentH6187 as holyH6944 to the LordH3068. 24In the yearH8141 of jubileeH3104 the fieldH7704 shall returnH7725 to the one from whomH834 he boughtH7069 it, to whomH834 the possessionH272 of the landH776 belongs. 25EveryH3605 assessmentH6187 of yours, moreover, shall be by 10the shekelH8255 of the sanctuaryH6944. The shekelH8255 shall be twentyH6242 gerahsH1626.
26‘11HoweverH389, a firstbornH1060 among animalsH929, whichH834 asH1069 aH1069 firstbornH1069 belongsH1069 to the LordH3068, noH3808 oneH376 may consecrateH6942; whetherH518 oxH7794 orH518 sheepH7716, it is the Lord’sH3068. 27But ifH518 it is among the uncleanH2931 animalsH929, then he shall 12redeemH6299 it according to your assessmentH6187 and addH3254 to it a fifthH2549 of it; and ifH518 it is not redeemedH1350, then it shall be soldH4376 according to your assessmentH6187.
28‘NeverthelessH389, 1314anythingH3605 whichH834 someoneH376 setsH2763 apartH2763 to the LordH3068 forH2763 15destructionH2763 out of allH3605 that he has, of manH120 or animalH929 or of the fieldH7704 of his own propertyH272, shall not be soldH4376 nor redeemedH1350. AnythingH3605 setH2764 apartH2764 forH2764 destructionH2764 is mostH6944 holyH6944 to the LordH3068. 29NoH3808H3605 16oneH3605 whoH834 may have been 17setH2763 apartH2763 amongH4480 mankindH120 shall be ransomedH6299; he mustH4191 be putH4191 toH4191 deathH4191.
30‘Now 18allH3605 the titheH4643 of the landH776, of the seedH2233 of the landH776 or of the fruitH6529 of the treeH6086, is the Lord’sH3068; it is holyH6944 to the LordH3068. 31IfH518, therefore, someoneH376 should everH1350 want to redeemH1350 part of his titheH4643, he shall addH3254 to it a fifthH2549 of it. 32For everyH3605 tenthH4643 partH4643 of herdH1241 or flockH6629, whateverH3605H834 19passesH5674 underH8478 the rodH7626, the tenthH6224 one shall be holyH6944 to the LordH3068. 3320He is not to be concernedH1239 whetherH996 it is goodH2896 or badH7451, norH3808 shall he exchangeH4171 it; yet ifH518 he doesH4171 exchangeH4171 it, then both it and its substituteH8545 shall becomeH1961 holyH6944. It shall not be redeemedH1350.’”
3421TheseH428 are the commandmentsH4687 whichH834 the LordH3068 commandedH6680 MosesH4872 for the sonsH1121 of IsraelH3478 on MountH2022 SinaiH5514.
