25Then people will sayH559, ‘It is 1becauseH5921H834 they abandonedH5800 the covenantH1285 of the LordH3068, the GodH430 of their fathersH1, whichH834 He madeH3772 with them when He broughtH3318 them outH3318 of the landH776 of EgyptH4714. 26And they wentH1980 and servedH5647 otherH312 godsH430 and worshipedH2331 them, godsH430 that they have not knownH3045 and whom He had not 2assignedH2505 to them. 27Therefore, the angerH639 of the LordH3068 burnedH2734 against that landH776, 3to bringH935 upon it everyH3605 curseH7045 which is writtenH3789 in thisH2088 bookH5612; 28and 4the LordH3068 uprootedH5428 them from their landH127 in angerH639, furyH2534, and in greatH1419 wrathH7110, and hurledH7993 them into anotherH312 landH776, as it is thisH2088 dayH3117.’
