1 Kings 21:9-14
9Now she had writtenH3789 in the lettersH5612, sayingH559, “ProclaimH7121 a fastH6685 and seatH3427 NabothH5022 at the headH7218 of the peopleH5971; 10and seatH3427 twoH8147 1worthlessH1100 menH376 oppositeH5048 him, and have them testifyH5749 against him, sayingH559, ‘2You 3cursedH1288 GodH430 and the kingH4428.’ Then takeH3318 him outH3318 and 4stoneH5619 him 5to deathH4191.”
11So the menH376 of his cityH5892, the eldersH2205 and the noblesH2715 whoH834 livedH3427 in his cityH5892, didH6213 justH3512 asH3512 JezebelH348 had sentH7971 word to them, justH3512 asH3512 it was writtenH3789 in the lettersH5612 whichH834 she had sentH7971 them. 12They 6proclaimedH7121 a fastH6685, and seatedH3427 NabothH5022 at the headH7218 of the peopleH5971. 13Then the twoH8147 worthlessH1100 menH376 cameH935 inH935 and satH3427 oppositeH5048 him; and the worthlessH1100 menH376 testifiedH5749 against him, against NabothH5022, beforeH5048 the peopleH5971, sayingH559, “NabothH5022 7cursedH1288 GodH430 and the kingH4428.” 8So they tookH3318 him outsideH4480H2351 the cityH5892 and stonedH5619 him 9to deathH4191 with stonesH68. 14Then they sentH7971 word to JezebelH348, sayingH559, “NabothH5022 has been stonedH5619 and is deadH4191.”
