1 Kings 15:16-24
161Now there was warH4421 betweenH996 AsaH609 and BaashaH1201 kingH4428 of IsraelH3478 allH3605 their daysH3117. 172BaashaH1201 kingH4428 of IsraelH3478 marchedH5927 againstH5921 JudahH3063 and 34fortifiedH1129 RamahH7414 5in order to preventH1115H5414 anyone from goingH3318 outH3318 or comingH935 inH935 to AsaH609 kingH4428 of JudahH3063. 18Then 6AsaH609 tookH3947 allH3605 the silverH3701 and the goldH2091 that was leftH3498 in the treasuriesH214 of the houseH1004 of the LordH3068 and the treasuriesH214 of the king’sH4428 houseH1004, and handedH5414H3027 it overH5414 to his servantsH5650. And 7KingH4428 AsaH609 sentH7971 them to Ben-hadadH1130 the sonH1121 of TabrimmonH2886, the sonH1121 of HezionH2383, kingH4428 of AramH758, who livedH3427 in 8DamascusH1834, sayingH559, 19“Let’s make a 9treatyH1285 betweenH996 10you and me, as there was betweenH996 my fatherH1 and your fatherH1. BeholdH2009, I have sentH7971 you a giftH7810 of silverH3701 and goldH2091; goH1980, breakH6565 your treatyH1285 with BaashaH1201 kingH4428 of IsraelH3478 so that he will withdrawH5927 from me.” 20So Ben-hadadH1130 listenedH8085 to KingH4428 AsaH609 and sentH7971 the commandersH8269 of his armiesH2428 againstH5921 the citiesH5892 of IsraelH3478, and 11conqueredH5221 12IjonH5859, 13DanH1835, 14Abel-beth-maacahH62, and allH3605 15ChinnerothH3672, besidesH5921 allH3605 the landH776 of NaphtaliH5321. 21When BaashaH1201 heardH8085 about it, 16he stoppedH2308 17fortifyingH1129 RamahH7414 and remainedH3427 in 18TirzahH8656. 22Then KingH4428 AsaH609 madeH8085 aH8085 proclamationH8085 to allH3605 JudahH3063--noH369 oneH369 was exemptH5355--and they carriedH5375 away the stonesH68 of RamahH7414 and its timberH6086 with whichH834 BaashaH1201 had builtH1129 fortifications. And KingH4428 AsaH609 builtH1129 with them 19GebaH1387 of BenjaminH1144 and MizpahH4709.
2320Now as for the restH3499 of allH3605 the actsH1697 of AsaH609 and allH3605 his mightH1369, and allH3605 that he didH6213 and the citiesH5892 whichH834 he builtH1129, are they not writtenH3789 in the BookH5612 of the ChroniclesH1697H3117 of the KingsH4428 of JudahH3063? But in the timeH6256 of his oldH2209 ageH2209 he wasH2470 diseasedH2470 in his feetH7272. 24And AsaH609 21layH7901 downH7901 with his fathersH1 and was buriedH6912 with his fathersH1 in the cityH5892 of his fatherH1 DavidH1732; and his sonH1121 22JehoshaphatH3092 reignedH4427 inH8478 his placeH8478.
