1 Kings 14:25-31
251Now it happenedH1961 in the fifthH2549 yearH8141 of KingH4428 RehoboamH7346, that ShishakH7895 the kingH4428 of EgyptH4714 marchedH5927 againstH5921 JerusalemH3389. 26And he tookH3947 away the treasuresH214 of the houseH1004 of the LordH3068 and the treasuresH214 of the king’sH4428 houseH1004, and 2he tookH3947 everythingH3605; 3he even tookH3947 allH3605 the shieldsH4043 of goldH2091 whichH834 SolomonH8010 had madeH6213. 27So KingH4428 RehoboamH7346 madeH6213 shieldsH4043 of bronzeH5178 inH8478 their placeH8478, and 4entrustedH6485 them to the 5careH3027 of the commandersH8269 of the 6guardH7323 who guardedH8104 the doorwayH6607 of the king’sH4428 houseH1004. 28And it happenedH1961 as oftenH1767 as the kingH4428 enteredH935 the houseH1004 of the LordH3068, that the 7guardsH7323 would carryH5375 them and would bringH7725 them backH7725 into the 8guards’H7323 roomH8372.
299Now as for the restH3499 of the actsH1697 of RehoboamH7346 and allH3605 that he didH6213, are they not writtenH3789 in the BookH5612 of the ChroniclesH1697H3117 of the KingsH4428 of JudahH3063? 3010And there was warH4421 betweenH996 RehoboamH7346 and JeroboamH3379 continuallyH3605H3117. 31And RehoboamH7346 11layH7901 downH7901 with his fathersH1 and was buriedH6912 with his fathersH1 in the cityH5892 of DavidH1732; and 12his mother’sH517 nameH8034 was NaamahH5279 the AmmonitessH5985. And his sonH1121 AbijamH38 becameH4427 kingH4427 inH8478 his placeH8478.
