Romans 8:14-39
14For all who are 1being led by the Spirit of God, these are 2sons and daughters of God. 15For you 3have not received a spirit of slavery 4leading to fear again, but you 5have received 6a spirit of adoption as sons and daughters by which we cry out, “7Abba! 8Father!” 16The Spirit Himself 9testifies with our spirit that we are 10children of God, 17and if children, 11heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, 12if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.
18For I consider that the sufferings of this present time 13are not worthy to be compared with the 14glory that is to be revealed to us. 19For the 15eagerly awaiting creation waits for 16the revealing of the 17sons and daughters of God. 20For the creation 18was subjected to 19futility, not willingly, but 20because of Him who subjected it, 21in hope 21that 22the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. 22For we know that the whole creation 23groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now. 2324And not only that, but also we ourselves, having 25the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves 26groan within ourselves, 27waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons and daughters, 28the redemption of our body. 24For 29in hope we have been saved, but 30hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees? 25But 31if we hope for what we do not see, through perseverance we wait eagerly for it.
26Now in the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for 32we do not know what to pray for as we should, but 33the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with 34groanings too deep for words; 27and 35He who searches the hearts knows what 36the mind of the Spirit is, because He 37intercedes for the 38saints according to the will of God.
28And we know that 39God 40causes 41all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are 42called according to His purpose. 29For those whom He 43foreknew, He also 44predestined to become 45conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the 46firstborn among many brothers and sisters; 30and these whom He 47predestined, He also 48called; and these whom He called, He also 49justified; and these whom He justified, He also 50glorified.
3151What then shall we say to these things? 52If God is for us, who is against us? 32He who 53did not spare His own Son, but 54delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? 33Who will bring charges against 55God’s elect? 56God is the one who justifies; 34who is the one who 57condemns? Christ Jesus is He who 58died, but rather, was 5960raised, who is 61at the right hand of God, who also 62intercedes for us. 35Who will separate us from 63the love of 64Christ? Will 65tribulation, or trouble, or 66persecution, or 67famine, or 68nakedness, or 69danger, or sword? 36Just as it is written: “70For Your sake we are killed all day long; We were regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.” 37But in all these things we overwhelmingly 71conquer through 72Him who loved us. 38For I am convinced that neither 73death, nor life, nor 74angels, nor principalities, nor 75things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from 76the love of God that is 77in Christ Jesus our Lord.
