Romans 3:22-28
22but it is the 1righteousness of God through 2faith 3in Jesus Christ for 4all those 5who believe; for 6there is no distinction, 23for all 78have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24being justified as a gift 9by His grace through 10the redemption which is in Christ Jesus, 25whom God displayed publicly as 11a 12propitiation 1314in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, 15because in God’s merciful 16restraint He 17let the sins previously committed go unpunished; 26for the demonstration, that is, of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who 18has faith in Jesus.
27Where then is 19boasting? It has been excluded. By 20what kind of law? Of works? No, but by a law of faith. 2821For 22we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from works 23of the Law.
