Romans 10:3-9
3For not knowing about 1God’s righteousness and 2seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God. 4For 3Christ is the 4end of the Law for righteousness to 5everyone who believes.
5For Moses writes of the righteousness that is 6based on the Law, that the person who performs 7them 8will live by 9them. 6But 10the righteousness 11based on faith speaks as follows: “12Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will go up into heaven?’ (that is, to bring Christ down), 7or ‘Who will descend into the 13abyss?’ (that is, to 14bring Christ up from the dead).” 8But what does it say? “15The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”--that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, 916that 17if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and 18believe in your heart that 19God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
