23Then the kingהַמֶּ֔לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “The oneH2088saysאֹמֶ֔רֶת'o.Me.retH559, ‘ThisH2088is my sonבְּנִ֥יbe.NiH1121who is livingH2416,and your sonוּבְנֵ֣ךְu.ve.NekhH1121is the deadהַמֵּ֑תha.MetH4191one’; andthe otherH2088saysאֹמֶ֙רֶת֙'o.Me.retH559, ‘Noלֹ֣אlo'H3808!For your sonבְּנֵ֥ךְbe.NekhH1121is the deadהַמֵּ֖תha.MetH4191one, and my sonוּבְנִ֥יu.ve.NiH1121is the livingהַחַ֖יha.ChaiH2416oneהֶחָֽי׃ פhe.ChaiH2416.’”

24And the kingהַמֶּ֖לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428saidוַיֹּ֥אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Getקְח֣וּke.ChuH3947me a swordחָ֑רֶבCha.revH2719.”So they broughtוַיָּבִ֥אוּvai.ya.Vi.'uH935a swordהַחֶ֖רֶבha.Che.revH2719beforeלִפְנֵ֥יlif.NeiH6440the kingהַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ha.Me.lekhH4428.

25And the kingהַמֶּ֔לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Cutגִּזְר֛וּgiz.RuH1504the livingהַחַ֖יha.ChaiH2416childהַיֶּ֥לֶדhai.Ye.ledH3206in twoלִשְׁנָ֑יִםlish.Na.yimH8147,and giveוּתְנ֤וּu.te.NuH5414halfהַחֲצִי֙ha.cha.TziH2677to the oneלְאַחַ֔תle.'a.ChatH259and halfהַחֲצִ֖יha.cha.TziH2677to the otherלְאֶחָֽת׃le.'e.ChatH259.”
