Isaiah 59:13-17

131Offending and 2denying the Lord, And turning away from our God, Speaking 3oppression and revolt, Conceiving and 4uttering lying words from the heart.145Justice is turned back, And 6righteousness stands far away; For truth has stumbled in the street, And uprightness cannot enter.15Truth is lacking, And one who turns aside from evil 7makes himself a prey. Now the Lord saw, And it was 8displeasing in His sight 9that there was no justice.16And He saw that there was 10no one, And was amazed that there was not one to intercede; Then His 11own arm brought salvation to Him, And His righteousness upheld Him.17He put on 12righteousness like a breastplate, And a 13helmet of salvation on His head; And He put on 14garments of vengeance for clothing And wrapped Himself with 15zeal as a cloak.
