Isaiah 45:7-12

7The One 1forming light and 2creating darkness, Causing 3well-being and 4creating disaster; I am the Lord who does all these things.

8“5Drip down, heavens, from above, And let the clouds pour down righteousness; Let the 6earth open up and salvation bear fruit, 7And righteousness sprout with it. I, the Lord, have created it.

9“Woe to the one who 8quarrels with 9his Maker-- A piece of pottery 10among the other earthenware pottery pieces! Will the 11clay say to the 12potter, ‘What are you doing?’ Or the thing you are making say, ‘He has no hands’?10Woe to him who says to a father, ‘What are you fathering?’ Or to a woman, ‘To what are you 13giving birth?’”

11This is what the 14Lord says, the Holy One of Israel and 15his 16Maker: “1718Ask Me about the things to come 19concerning My 20sons, And you shall commit to Me 21the work of My hands.12It is I who 22made the earth, and created mankind upon it. I 23stretched out the heavens with My hands, And I 24ordained 25all their 26lights.
