Isaiah 37:26-29
261Have you not heard? Long ago I did it, From ancient times I 2planned it. Now 3I have brought it about That 4you would turn fortified cities into 5ruined heaps.27Therefore their inhabitants were 6powerless, They were shattered and put to shame; They were like the 7vegetation of the field and the green grass, Like 8grass on the housetops 9that is scorched before it has grown.28But I 10know your sitting down, Your going out, your coming in, And your raging against Me.29Because of your raging against Me And because your 11complacency has come up to My ears, I will put My 12hook in your nose And My 13bridle in your lips, And I will turn you back 14by the way that you came.
