Isaiah 37:26-29

261Have you not heard? Long ago I did it, From ancient times I 2planned it. Now 3I have brought it to pass, That 4you should turn fortified cities into 5ruinous heaps.27Therefore their inhabitants were short of strength, They were dismayed and put to shame; They were as the 6vegetation of the field and as the green herb, As 7grass on the housetops 8is scorched before it is grown up.28But I 9know your sitting down And your going out and your coming in And your raging against Me.29Because of your raging against Me And because your 1011arrogance has come up to My ears, Therefore I will put My 12hook in your nose And My 13bridle in your lips, And I will turn you back 14by the way which you came.
