Isaiah 28:18-22

18Your 1covenant with death will be 2 3canceled, And your pact with Sheol will not stand; When the 4 5gushing flood passes through, Then you will become its 6trampling ground.19As 7often as it passes through, it will 8seize you; For 9morning after morning it will pass through, anytime during the day or night, And it will be 10sheer 11terror to understand 12what it means.”20The bed is too short on which to stretch out, And the 13blanket is too 14small to wrap oneself in.21For the Lord will rise up as at Mount 15Perazim, He will be stirred up as in the Valley of 16Gibeon, To do His 17task, His 18 19unusual task, And to work His work, His 20extraordinary work.22And now do not carry on as 21scoffers, Or your shackles will be made stronger; For I have heard from the Lord 22God of armies Of decisive 23destruction on all the earth.
